It is evidence of the chaos evoked by a selfish, lascivious, lustful ,wanton lifestyle. No accountability and protected by minions who are sycophants. In a word pathetic.

I am now at the point of not caring. I am sick of hearing about Paris Hilton. Many people go to jail everyday and we dont have to hear about all of them. The best punishment for her would be if we all stopped paying attention to her because like a spoiled child that is all she wants anyway....attention.

Lets see,

Today I watched the funeral procession of a young member of our town who was killed in Irag last week. And I can not believe there is not a single story on your website about the sacrafice he made for our country. I can care less what happens to Paris. Way too much time is wasted on Ms Hilton.

Amen LPR1994.

Any so-called news about "celebrities" such as Paris Hilton should be confined to the "Entertainment Tonight" types of television programs and websites and prohibited from NEWS programs. It is a crying shame when network news broadcasts lead off with this garbage. I would be most pleased to never hear anything about Paris Hilton again.

Lets forget about her for atleast the next 45 days while she sits in her 6X9 cage.

LRP, are you from Pembroke? I saw a story on the Westboro Baptist Churches intention to protest at that funeral of Pfc. Matthew Bean. I hope they were kept at a distance. I read a nice story about him in the Patriot Ledger earlier in the week.

It may very well be a waste of our time, but isn't it refreshing to see the book thrown at a celebrity for once? We have a slew of young women in the media like Paris that teens and younger girls look up to, and it's about time that they see the consequences for these types of actions.

I love Paris Hilton! She is beautiful, shallow, brainless, the perfect rich girlfriend. Sort of what OJ Simpson had for a wife, until he slit her throat, and her fiends throat. If he had been a white man instead of a whining black celeb, he would still be in jail for cold blooded murder.

Lets make an example of her, to show that you don't get preferential treatment in the court system unless you are black!

I think its absolutely pathetic. If there were any ordinary person like myself they would laugh at us at the question of serving the rest of the time in the comfort of our own home! Im glad the judge ordered her back where she belongs to pay for the mistake she made.

This is the first judge in Cailfornia to have some guts to lay down the law what he ruled and not the sherrif barney fife. Paris the moron had a total of 3 chances first she got busted and got 3 years probation, and then she was caught two more time driveing with a supended licence how hard is that to comprehend. This is a woman who sticks her middle finger at the law. Look at what would of happen if she got home detention she would have had a party and enjoy the good life. I am glad the judge changed that.

We have other problems going on in the country and this moron gets all of it. We have the war in Iraq, rising gas prices that don't stop, Illegal Imgration problems and this Moron gets all of the news coverage I say toss her boney butt in with the rest of the other prisoners and let her learn what real hard time is. The lets hear her scream Mommy once they get a hold of her then.

Yes, Oscar it was in Pembroke.

My son said "the group" from Westboro was
outside his school.
However I think the line up of all the students holding flags made a bigger impression than the so called group.
Too bad non of the news stations had a picture of that....instead the weeping Hilton took canter stage. Shame ,shame.

A comment about Al Sharpton (Rev. or not ?)Why does it always have to be a black or white issue?I am so tired of him.Do us a favor and stay out of the media.I believe you are the Racist.Did you forget about the truck driver in the L.A. riots back then.He is ruined for life and got nothing for it.The people who beat the piss out of him git nothing, but we hear alot about Rodney and it is all bad.He got compensated for that.So Al it is not always black and white you and the media, and others like you are the Racists
Thank-You
