Shirley "Tippy" McBride Missing Concord, NH 15 Years Old Last seen July 13, 1984 $5000 Reward Offered
Tonight's New England's Unsolved examines the disappearance of 15 year old Shirley McBride from Concord, NH nearly a quarter century ago.
Most people knew Shirley by her nickname, Tippy. And Concord, NH Police are convinced there are people who know what happened to Shirley, but for one reason or another are keeping it to themselves.
On the night Shirley vanished, she told her sister she was going to visit her boyfriend where he worked at a company called Concord Litho. All these years later, it is still unclear whether Shirley ever made it to her boyfriend's workplace.
There have been sightings of Shirley as close as Lowell, MA and as far away as NY state. But those sightings have never been verified. And Concord, NH Police believe Shirley never left Concord, NH.
It is hoped that our story will remind Shirley's friends that she is still missing, and that police are still trying to find her. Her case is far from forgotten. It is feared Shirley was the victim of foul play. And it is hoped that a quarter of a century has forced Shirley's friends to rethink old allegiances.
If you know what happened to Shirley "Tippy" McBride, or if you've heard from someone else what happened, now is the time to talk.
