ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ......oh sorry, dozing off there for a minute. How long will this trip to Japan affect the Red Sox as they finally get back to normal? I'm not sure, but from the way I feel right now I can tell you it IS going to have an effect on them.
I have been home for almost four days now and I have yet to get any normal sleep. Even when I'm dog tired, I put my head down on the pillow and I'll fall right asleep only to wake up about an hour later and then wake up several more times during that sleep. I've travelled a lot in my life but I've never experienced anything like this. The weirdest thing was coming home from Japan. We left Tokyo on Thursday morning. We then flew practially all day and night to get to Dallas before coming home to Boston. The weird part? We land in Dallas , after leaving Tokyo on Thursday morning and flying all day and night and it's still Thursday morning in Dallas! Where did the day go? It simply dissappeared.
I don't know how long the Sox will take to recover from this. After all, these guys travel and work for a living. But it has to have some effect on them. I know how I feel and it's still not normal. But hey, nothing has changed with either baseball or the Red Sox. Whoever gets the best pitching will win. Hurry up Josh Beckett. We need you.

Got an opinion? I'd love to hear it....I've got a few myself and there's a pretty good chance you don't agree with some of them, so let's hear from you.
