Maybe it is a function of turning 50, but I find myself getting a little more cranky with each passing year.  Some random thoughts about things that tick me off:

1.   People who insist on carrying on a cell phone conversation at the same time they are trying to order a coffee at Dunkin Donuts.

2 .People who wait until they reach the bank teller to fill out their paperwork rather then taking care of it prior to getting line.

3. People who throw their trash on the sidewalk when there is a trash barrel within sight.

4. People who try to jam themselves onto a subway car before the people inside can exit.

5. Fans who need to get up in the middle of play to get a beer refill rather than waiting until there is a break in the action.

6. People who stop in the middle of the intersection and cause grid lock because they are so self important.

7.  People who are too lazy to brush the snow off their entire vehicle and then get on the interstate doing 75 mph so the wind will blow it off.

8.  People who stand on the street corner trying to get me to take a personality test.  I have a news flash for them, I DON'T HAVE A PERSONALITY, so stopping asking.

9.  People who let their dogs walk loose and use the sidewalk for a toilet.

10.  People who complain about other people's stupid habits. (I am looking in the mirror as I type this)  Guilty as charged!!

People in line at the grocery store, usually the express lane, that all of a sudden remember they have to write a check. First they have to find the check, then a pen, then their card, then ask (for the third time) "how much again?". Then write the check, get the receipt and stand in front of the cash register making sure the receipt is right.
Or the people who, when at a red light, move ever so slowly, inch by inch, inch by inch and then, when the light turns green, NOTHING. No movement whatsoever. Or the one behind you at a red light that is so impatient that they can't wait for you to move your foot from the brake to the gas before they start honking their damn horn. Or the one.......

Chopp, being 50+, myself, I can totally relate to what you are saying. I have days when nothing bothers me, while there are other days when someone will do something that just goes up me sideways. Like, for instance, the driver who can't wait for a car to turn, so, instead of patiently waiting for 10 seconds, they cut you off, pull back into the other lane only to stop at a red light. Yeah, that got them a long way. Or the 90 year old who never hits the brake, or even thinks to see if perhaps a car is coming in their direction, as they just blast out of a parking lot, then crawl along at a snail's pace! In my house, my (least) favorite is that NO ONE knows how to open the dishwasher! They are all kind enough to lift that heavy dinner plate and carry it to the counter top, and very kindly place it on top of the counter above the opening of the dishwasher. When I say something, I'm told they "didn't know if the dishes inside were clean or dirty!" HELLOOOOOOOO!!! Oh, I could go on and on!!!!! But, of course that is only because I'm perfect!!!!! LOL!!!

Well, if you have to be 50+ to be cranky at things, then I'm in BIG trouble. I'm 28 and find all the things you guys mention to be the things that irritate the hell out of me along with people who don't let you finish a sentence before they begin answering. It's even more irritating when the answer they give you is WRONG because they didn't listen to the question to begin with..........

People that speed up and pass you on the way to the red light...

ooh - people that get into the left turning lane, because it's shorter - and then when the light turns green, they try to get into the right turning lane. 30 seconds, dude - you would have had to wait 30 more seconds.

I love the list..... I so agree with all.

I have my cranky list, I think you all know the top of it...HOW HARD IT IS TO ORDER AT DD's !!

I positively hate tailgater's ..... too close for comfort.

Funny you should mention DD's. I went on Sunday on my way to work. Ordered a white hot chocolate. Got to work, took a sip, Milky Way.
Called them and told them I was coming back. Went back, got my hot chocolate, went back to work, took a sip-Milky Way. Now I know this time it was my fault for not checking the second time but I was quite perturbed. Then today, went to DD's-a whole different one in another town, ordered a white hot chocolate and what did I get? Milky Way. Unbelievable.

Oh, don't get me going on DD! When I am ordering more than just a coffee, I go inside so as not to cause a traffic jam behind me(I go nuts when people use the drive through and order for ten people). I generally order the same thing--medium latte, skim milk, NO SUGAR and an everything bagel, toasted TWICE! I even repeat TWICE! Butter ONLY, NO cream cheese. Most of the time, I get the latte right, however, the bagel---almost NEVER! How hard is it to run one bagel through the toaster two times? I like my bagels toasted, not warm. And the NO cream cheese--Then, I'm the ***** for bringing it back in and complaining!!! I forgot, "have it your way!" belongs to a different fast food restaurant! Silly me.

Believe it or not just had a DD issue again on Sunday.
I was with my daughter and she likes the butter already melted on her bagel...so I order, a plain bagel toasted and buttered. The girl even asks if I want the butter on the bagel, I repeat yes please. Drive up to the window and pass the bagel to my daughter with butter and knife in the bag...NO BUTTER ON THE BAGEL !!
