This is about this weekend animated christmas display happening in Belleville, NJ. Where a awesome good friend of mine is doing a good thing. Collecting unwrap toys for children with cancer and also collecting unwrap toys for 3 special kids from the Stantucci Family that is from Belleville.

FOR THE 10TH YEAR, MICHAEL CHIEFFO IS ASKING ANYONE WHO IS INTRESTED IN BRINGING AN UNWRAPPED TOY THE EVENING OF DECEMBER 13TH, FOR CHILDREN WITH CANCER.

NATIONAL KIDNEY FOUNDATION REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE PRESENT. NATIONAL KIDNEY FOUNDATION WILL DISTRBUTE TOYS TO LOCAL HOSPITALS.

In addition we are accepting gifts for the children of fallen Belleville Police Officer Kenneth Santucci.

Stantucci kids ages 2, 7, and a new born.

Also.....radio station PULSE 87 will be present. Mike Chieffo is trying to out do himeself here. Trying to make this year event the best yet.

A big plasma screen for Nintendo Wii. Another big plasma screen for showing christmas scenes. Christmas music of course. The awesome Belleville Fire Truck. Hot chocoalte and snacks.

Do not know if anything else will be at the event. You will have to come and find out for yourself.

NEW STREET is off of Division Ave. New Street will be closed off to car traffic. New Street is also off of Joralemon Street. Will be a big and very bright spot light pointing to the sky. In case you can not find it.

Has anyone noticed this. This might be happening to other store sales.

I bought a Cannon A1000 IS digital camera on Nov. 8, 2008. The regualr price then was $199.99. The sale price in the paper that week was $179.99. Now this week.......The Best Buy flier in the sundays paper says regular price is $179.99 and the sale price is $159.99.

I still have my receipt of course.

What is wrong with this picture???

DO NOT TOUCH THEM CLOCKS JUST YET!! The return to Standard Time will NOT take effect till this sunday, November 2nd, 2008. So you will not have to change them clocks till saturday night of November 1st. When you are ready to head for bed. Then change the clocks back one hour.

Soooo, do not touch them clocks till saturday night of November 1st.

You will gain one hour of sleep.

For those living in New Jersey!

The Multiple Sclerosis Greater North Jersey Chapter office located in Paramus, NJ and Multiple Sclerosis Mid-Jersey Chapter office located in Oakhurst, NJ is merging into one name on October 1, 2008.

The new name will now be Multiple Sclerosis New Jersey Metro Chapter.

The office as far as I know it. Will stay where they are. But now under a new name and working as one BIG family.

Hopefully with these two that is now one. Will have bigger events to raise more money for Multiple Sclerosis. Make the MS Walk more fun. To drag in more walkers. The same for the MS bike tours.

Will soon see when 2009 rolls in.

HEY EVERYONE,

It been awhile since posting in here. I mostly been reading in here. I noticed no more SoundOff.

ANYWAY . . . . . . . .

Gas prices are around $4 dollars a gallon. Am I right? Well, try this for size. If you are going places in your own town/city. Maybe going to the next town/city bordering your town/city. Why don't you either walk, ride a bicycle, take a bus or take a subway? Depending on where you live for having a subway.

Less gas being used. Less money being used. You get healthy from cycling and walking from point A to point B. Really!  Walking to and fron a subway or bus is also healthy. Plus more money for you to use for whatever you need it for!

Just bring water and or some kind of snack. Wear a bike helmet for cycling a bike. Plus a bike lock. Lock the bike when you go to the store or something like that.

A friend came up with something. How about doing these things. Maybe gas stations will think about lowering gas prices in the near future.

Anyone hear about this story. Flemington Department Store giving away carpets that  Pope Benedict walked on. The carpet that was used at Yankees Stadium and at St. Joseph's Church in Yonkers.

HEY FOLKS !!

I never seen such an act on the torch relay. Oh my goodness!!! I never seen or heard so much bad things about the 2008 torch relay.

I remember about protesters in Aussie Country. A few people was trying to knock the flame out. It was along the around the world for the 2004 olympic torch relay.

I carried the olympic torch for the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Games. A once in a life time. Something I will never forget. I carried my leg of the torch relay in Staten Island, NY on December 23, 2001. Joe Torre was at the next bridge after me. I was #068 and  Yankees Manager Joe Torre was #099. I was sick that day. But it did not stop me from being apart of the great event.

The special people that is suppose to carry the olympic torch for the 2008 Summer Games. Some can not. BECUASE OF THE PROTESTERS ! ! ! ! !

Do not go after the torchbearers. They are not the enemy. They are just jogging, running or walking with the torch with the olympic flame. Holding the olympic torch with the flame. The olympic flame. (saying it in different ways) No matter what. The olympic torch relay is peace. Not an enemy. Not looking for war. These are special people carrying the olympic torch. A once in a lifetime thing to remember for the rest of the torchbearer's life.

It sort of bothers me to what is going on with the torch relay.

I do not like what China is doing either. But what is going on to the torchbearers and the torch relay is NOT CALLED FOR!!!! Protesters needs to stop bugging the torchbearers. So the torch relay can continue.

I wish I could carry the 2008 olympic torch when it comes to San Fransico, CA this month.

Hey Folks,

Did I miss something here!! Did I oversleep or something?? Did I miss Halloween and Thanksgiving??

Can someone tell me what holiday is coming up? I see Christmas wreath hanging up on the light poles on Franklin Ave Nutley, NJ already. Cycled to Blockbuster sunday, October  the 21st and saw them on every pole in Nutley Center.

Maybe this is a early April Fool joke by Nutley offical.

NEWS ALAERT ON BELLEVILLE/NUTLEY BORDER

Crime Scene currently going on right now on the Belleville / Nutley border. On Franklin Ave. Time now is 1:28pm on July 12th. Belleville and Nutley police are still on the scene. Plus the crime scene vans are still there.

A large area of Frnaklin Ave is closed off to traffic.

A red car was taken away at the time I arrived.

I got off one photo. In case I was not allowed to take any photos..

My Cuz Lisa that lives just off route 72 was evacuated from the forrest fire area. She called my mother to say the fire stopped just short of her home. She is married and has kids.

I am glad nothing happened or not homeless.

I will take photos when I reach the burnt area of route 539. I should reach the area after 2pm. All depends on the weather and the wind. Will post them photos on here either monday or tuesday.
