America loves a Rag Doll

I'm sorry..here I go upon my soap box, minus the derby..

I'm sitting stunned that the Syesha and Carly are in the bottom two while rag boy goes quietly to the bench makes faces all the way, shrugging his shoulders, and looking like he's lost a little stuffing lately or needs to be taught to sit still, and maybe use some voice lessons, and let's throw in a little sophistocation pointers...no, no wait..lets just teach the boy a little maturity.

Bewildered..speechless ..yeah I'd say I was/am..Carly goes home, the voice of the next Joan Jet, maybe even more powerful, and all that the teeny cell-boppin' texted crazed girls vote for is the Rag Boy?  I guess that mature, well-tuned sound can only be appreciated by us over the age of 17.  And so who cares that he can only sing one genre and thats questionable.. who cares that he has no class or maturity himself to stand and listen without making goofy faces and hand motions..at least his dreads are cool..and thats all that matters.

Am I the only one splitting hairs about rag boy?

Nope i totaly agree with you on rag boy, cant sing cant talk fur ball hair do..what is america comming to

The dreads are NOT cool. They look mangier and mangier every week. He needs to rid himself of them. But they're probably one of the reasons he's stayed in this. The true contest was between Carly and David Cook. Now that Carly is gone, I'm thinking of not even watching anymore. Probably will though so I can hopefully see David Cook take it all. What a shame. At least we know she'll get a record deal. She's going to be a star.

Totally agree with you!
Bottom 2 should have been Jason and Brooke...
The rag boy is acting completely like a bum and he's so sure of himself that he might win the competition.... Boy you've got a loooong way to go...
His voice is not interesting any more and he should take the competition more seriously instead of goofing around and answering questions mockingly...
Brooke on the other hand did a big mistake on starting again for the second time in the competition this season... But hey... she looks like a "pure" girl, very humane, down to earth. Maybe that's what some people like about her and they vote for her. Her performances are just ok for the last weeks and she should be sent home right after Jason.
To my opinion Carly and the two Davids should have been the final 3.... Maybe Jason is like Sanjaya. He has a huge fan base and they keep him in the competition with their votes...
If this is a popularity competition then we're watching the wrong competition and the rag boy should win.
But if it's about the whole package then to my opinion David Cook should win.
America got it al wrong again....

America got it totally wrong this time as last week!
The rag boy and Brooke should have been the bottom two... How could Carly be eliminated I'm still in shock!
She was supposed to stay till the last 3 together with the Davids... This is a singing competition not popularity!!!
Jason might have a big fan club that saved him for another week but he should definitely go next week!
He's just answering questions mockingly and especially yesterday he was goofing around.
Brooke on the other hand should have been in the bottom 2 with the rag boy as she did the same mistake of starting over again for the second time during the season. She looks like a pure, humane, down to earth person so maybe that's why people keep voting for her to stay...
Hope America gets it right next week and we finally have creativity in the house :)

Ragboy should have been gone weeks ago. I think he gets the immigrant vote. He had one good week.

For sure weeeks ago he should have been gone!

Someone just told me he belongs on a subway platform, yukelale in tow, re-used dirty Starbucks cup, singing "..rock a bye sweet baby James", but I think even that would be too good for him. I'd have more compassion if he weren't so cocky about it and looking like he'd gotten away with yet another week on Idol..oh perish the thought of seeing him sing Neil Diamond on Tuesday and having to watch him giggle when he'd done.

Ah well, maybe Simon will tell him next week that he's lucky to be there, that he should have been gone. Simon's done it before.

We can only hope.

Kristy Lee will get a record deal but it will be a short fuse career for her... She's got the looks and selling point.. Why do you think she stayed so long :))
Neil Diamond week was torture... Wish they sang one song only... Jason the usual rag doll... Hope he's really gone this week as he's so cocky giggly all the time.. He wasn't serious enough about the songs yesterday...
Brooke the first song was a real nightmare! Not her comfort zone... David A. has done what Kristy Lee did before... Very clever song choice... Syesha is a great performer but doesn't have a big "fan club" so he might be gone this week... Hope Jason goes before... Can't stand him another week...
David Cook! He should be the winner... Every week we have great performances... Wish Carly was still in the game...
Hopefully this week America gets it right!

I was actually so upset about Ryan telling him he was safe to have a seat on the bench that I pulled a muscle in my calf as I was getting off the floor..and whenever that baffoon told Ryan that he "didn't know any of the songs"and shrugged his shoulders, I got so upet I walked way from the show. I can't believe how he killed the two Neil Diamond songs and makes it another week! Brooke left us (finally) but still he should have gone before her. I'm loosing faith ..
