What books did you get for Christmas??

I got A Thousand Splendid Suns, from my sister in law, and I could NOT put it down! Read it in 3 days! One of my all time new favorites. It's written by The Kite Runer Author. I love true, realistic, informative type of books.
I gave her Girl From the Jungle, by Sabine Kuegler, true story about a girl who grows up in the jungles. Another wonderful book.

Did you get any good books to share with us readers? I'm looking for some suggestions.

I actually picked my own Christmas book out (yay gift cards/money!), and I bought the Marvel graphic novel adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower Series. I'd already read the individual issues (There were 8) that a friend of mine had, but I bought the hardcover version for my shelf. If anyone has wanted to read the series, but was put off by the length of the books (there are a few seriously long ones), this is a well-illustrated condensed version.
