I'm sorry but to see the hypocrisy of the Liberals in this State punish with un-constitutional fines on Smokers over an over again.....targeting one group of people and hands off to the BIG MENACE & COST TO society Drinking Alcohol.....as we seen recently in Falmouth with a Baseball wielding whack job [ allegedlly ] attacking a person for having New York Plates an possibly being a YANGEE'S Fan and a life time of witnessing violent actions of drinkers an destruction to private an public property like the celebrations of our Sports teams an other events....even in bars....

I'm just curious how this State of Massghanistan if they choose the trend to go like other states like Oregon and Washington State an recently New Hampshire legalizing or decriminalizing POT and how this flies as Hypocrisy to this  State's Legislators of taxing cigarette smokers over an over again..... yet they actually might legalize Pot? what the hell is that all about? it doesnt sound very consistent to me? a matter fact recent studies show POT in the hands of people with serious mental psychosis it can intensify their mental conditions so if your Suicidal Homicidal it can make it worse!!!!!!! they can become more violent an lean more to suicide....growing up with the pot generation its was evident to me that POT is a depressant! i use to say instead of let get high! i use to say hey you want to go get [low]

whats going to be the cost of mental physical health of these POT SMOKERS to the TAX PAYERS? The dopey stone-rs probably wouldnt care if they get TAXED if it was legalized an dont care what damage it can do to people with serious mental health issues or physical health issues as long as their eyes and body feel MUSHY.... MUSHY.....and wouldn't care if the State Legislature raises the taxes on it over and over again as long as they dont have to walk down the street in paranoid of being busted for a few joints or like in Oregon or Washington State you can have 6lbs or more now in your home of Homegrown so how will the State control the tax revenue or enhancement of that kind of legalization or decriminalization of Pot HOW WILL THEY MAKE ANY MONEY OF IT? cause eventually it will be in your home out of state control but we will have to pay the cost of its usage over decades of inhaling it an lungs issues....also how are you going to control second hand smoke from POT i get a buzz from the second hand smoke from POT in close vicinity of it.....it makes me sick just like non-smokers say about cigarettes yet cigarettes dont make high in the true sense an what if a innocent person with mental health issues gets second pot smoke an they have issues with Suicide an Homicidal thoughts....what if they go off from second hand smoke from pot smokers....it would sort of be like dosing people with TRIPPIES or ALICE B. TOKLAS BROWNIES with out the victim not knowing what is going on with them sort like the recent story of the kid dosing cops brownies under the guise that they were from the group M.A.D. recently in the news....

I say bull BLEEP! about the hypocrisy of the State Legislators and their STONERS vs the Cigarette smokers and out liberal State Legislature who will no doubt eventually legalize pot in the face of Hypocrisy of their stance on second hand smoke an cigarettes.........

Cigarette's kill more people annually than marijuana, heroin, cocaine, methamphetamyns and alchohol combined. Nicotene is a mind altering, mood altering addictive substance.

So where is the hypocracy?? We would be better off if all were legal, taxed to market value with a percentage to addictive treatment. That way at least we would actually document and treat our addicts instead of forcing them underground.

The result would be significant funds increase for money we need, reduced medical costs (as less addicts will progress to the point of severe illness), greatly reduced prison and prison costs.

Please do not kid yourself, except for heroin, cigarettes are as bad an addiction as it gets (according to Dr. C. Everett Koop, the best damn Surgeon General this country ever had!).

If you do not think they alter your mind and your mood, just try stopping.

And I truly wish you the best and the best of luck but remember, those things will kill you as slowly, painfully and surely as any other drug taken to excess.

What would you do? if they destroyed your home? if they threatened your family? if they stole your freedom? Where would you draw the line? Some things are worth fighting for."FREEDOM IS NOT FREE" I was a Die hard liberal for 35+ years and was indoctrinated into liberalism in Brookline Madras in my high school years during the Vietnam War conflict... Once I moved into the rural areas and learned to see self reliance in the people the towns folk, an I had a political sort of metamorphosis, and a philosophical shift. I settled down in Quabbin area about 15 years ago. I teach Plein Air Watercolour and have painting workshops. A former Boston Rocker during the 70's and Blues player in the 80's an 90's and learned Photography with a box camera...... The woods and forest are my hunting & spiritual grounds, an the streams an brooks, lakes are my fishing grounds, I spend alot of time walking the ridges through Wick-QuaBoag Valley......an enjoying the wild life that uses my yard as a pathway to their stars the 1,000 ft ridge, and not surprised to see a [Fisher cat] drop out of the trees in my backyard while painting watercolours at my house abutting the forest an swamp and of course Deer, Bobcat, Coyotes, Black Bear, Otter playing in the snow an Mink near the brook in my yard, Eagles, Turkeys, Canadian Snow Owl and local Owls, Hawks and of course the Beaver. I believe we belong in the Garden Of Eden, not in a jungle of concrete and asphalt and city noises and rush, rush, rush! to the next signal light. My other political blogs: http://blog.myspace.com/f
