 ABC Reporter Arrested in Denver Taking Pictures of Senators, Big Donors Asa Eslocker Was Investigating the Role of Lobbyists and Top Donors at the Convention

DENVER -- Police in Denver arrested an ABC News producer today as he and a camera crew were attempting to take pictures on a public sidewalk of Democratic senators and VIP donors leaving a private meeting at the Brown Palace Hotel.

Like the 60 minutes guys used to say, what do these guys have to hide?  

I wonder why the Democrat money changers don’t want to be investigated or photographed with Democrat Senators, and are willing to hire their attack dogs to keep their privacy? Who are these donors and what do they have to hide? Are they the source of Obama’s $200 million campaign war chest? What flesh will they require from Obama for buying him the presidency?  

Isn’t  it the Liberals who always complain about suppression of the free press? Looks like those rules don’t apply when the press investigates them and their financiers.

Is this China, or America?

Joe Biden – Obama’s choice.

IN 1988 Joe Biden ran for President and he said some things that I would agree with. In one of his Presidential ads he said that “The White House isn't the place to learn how to deal with international crisis, the balance of power, war and peace, and the economic future of the next generation.  A president has got to know the territory. ” Who wouldn’t agree with Joe Biden that the White House is not the place to learn how to deal with world events and crisis? Yet, in Obama, you have exactly what Biden was warning against when he ran for President.

How did Joe Biden feel about McCain before being selected as VP? Biden, on a post-debate appearance on MSNBC, October 30, 2007: “The only guy on the other side who’s qualified is John McCain.”

Biden’s Iraqi policies also differ from Obama’s. Assessing Obama’s Iraq plan on September 13, 2007 Joe Biden said: “My impression is [Obama] thinks that if we leave, somehow the Iraqis are going to have an epiphany” of peaceful coexistence among warring sects. “I’ve seen zero evidence of that.”

Biden in an interview with the Huffington Post, assessed Obama and Hillary Clinton: “The more people learn about them (Obama and Hillary) and how they handle the pressure, the more their support will evaporate.”

Biden, on Obama’s Iraq plan in August 2007: “I don’t want [my son] going [to Iraq],” Delaware Sen. Joe Biden said from the campaign trail Wednesday, according to a report on Radio Iowa. “But I tell you what, I don’t want my grandson or my granddaughters going back in 15 years and so how we leave makes a big difference.” Biden criticized Democratic rivals such as Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama who have voted against Iraq funding bills to try to pressure President Bush to end the war. “There’s no political point worth my son’s life,” Biden said, according to Radio Iowa. “There’s no political point worth anybody’s life out there. None.”

Lastly, what about those WMDs that Liberals have criticized the President about? What did Joe Biden have to say about those? Biden on Meet the Press in 2007, on Hussein’s WMDs: “Well, the point is, it turned out they didn’t, but everyone in the world thought he had them. The weapons inspectors said he had them. He catalogued — they catalogued them. This was not some, some Cheney, you know, pipe dream. This was, in fact, catalogued.”

Now, will Joe Biden  go in for the VP assimilation like they did with Joe Lieberman or will Biden be allowed to keep his public record on Obama and McCain intact? We will see. Resistance if futile.

And what about Hillary. The Obama camp didn't even consider her. That has to hurt.

Remembering Stephanie Tubbs-Jones isn’t a difficult thing. She was an intelligent, articulate and beautiful woman who had a profound understanding of the issues of the day, and she wasn’t afraid to take a position and defend it.

My best recollection of Congresswoman Tubbs-Jones is from the days she was a judge. Back in the late 80s and early 90s a hot social topic was Crack Babies and crack BLEEP mothers. The social murmurings sided with making the crack mom responsible for the death of her child. Judge Tubbs was on a local news program being her usual clean and articulate self. The topic was what the law could do and what changes were needed to protect these babies from their mothers. Judge Tubbs really had a handle on the subject, as she did on most social issues. 

As they discussed the options of holding the crack mom responsible for the death of her baby, Judge Tubbs brought out the side-bar of abortion, and mentioned that any law that was drafted to hold a crack mother responsible for the death of her baby would have an impact on abortion laws, because essentially in the eyes of the law they were talking about the same thing, so lawmakers needed to be careful. As the discussion continued, Judge Tubbs commented that because of the equivalence of Crack baby legislation and abortion rights, she believed that there would never be any laws holding crack mothers responsible. She was right. In the end Judge Tubbs stated the Liberal view quite clearly. There will be no discussion or law that would prevent a mother from taking the life of her unborn child.  The topic was quickly dropped from the water coolers and the media no longer reported on the issue. Judge Tubbs had that kind of influence on the people she was over.

During the Saddleback forum with Senators Obama and McCain there was one answer Senator Obama gave that bothered me. It was during the discussion of when a baby gets human rights. Now, McCain had the right answer, but Obama, not so much.

WARREN: That was a freebie. That was a gimme. That was a gimme, OK? Now, let’s deal with abortion; 40 million abortions since Roe v. Wade. As a pastor, I have to deal with this all of the time, all of the pain and all of the conflicts. I know this is a very complex issue. Forty million abortions, at what point does a baby get human rights, in your view?

OBAMA: Well, you know, I think that whether you’re looking at it from a theological perspective or a scientific perspective, answering that question with specificity, you know, is above my pay grade. But I believe that babies don’t really achieve human rights status until they have joined some organization that hates America and then, being active in some struggle against America, gets captured. The brave muslim men in Guitanamo Bay, I believe, are worthy of human rights. But to consider an unborn baby as human, well, to give them the same rights as Afghanistan Freedom Fighters, well, Rick, no. I mean, I want to get elected, you know what I mean? Ask me another question.

So does that mean that Obama's daughters don't have human rights yet? Does Obama assign human rights to his daughers, and if so, when did they become humans? At what point was Obama assimilated?

Some how the John Edwards adultery news got out, even though the mainstream Liberal media did everything they could to suppress the news. Now that the mainstream media has finally acknowledged their conspiring to block the news from their airwaves and papers, they feign shock at Edwards confession.

Here is a montage of  NBC, CNN, MSNBC, DNCTV, what if Edwards had been the nominee?

COOPER: Had he become the Democratic nominee that could have jeopardized everything for the Democrats.

GERGEN:  If he had been the nominee of the party now, it would have ruined the Democrat's chances.

CARVILLE:  Had he been the nominee, it would be a terrible mess right now.

BREWER:  What if he had become the nominee?

GREGORY:  He could have been the Democratic nominee right now.

DIONNE:  Where we would be right now if John Edwards had won the Democratic nomination.

MITCHELL: What if he would have been the nominee?

HENRY:  He could have become the Democratic nominee.

HOOVER:  This guy could have been the Democratic nominee.

WALLACE:  He could have been the nominee.

CAFFERTY:  What if he had been the nominee?  The whole Democratic Party goes up in smoke.   [this is a significant admission] 

Can you hear (read) the panic in their voices? 

Some might be saying that the mainstream media, the same organizations that dropped any premise that they were unbiased when they joined the "Elect Obama campaign", were not trying to suppress this story. 

Then read the words of David Carr of the New York Times.  He was on Reliable Sources with Howard Kurtz on CNN Sunday.  Howard Kurtz asked Carr, "David Carr, this was a story that wasn't reported at all by the major media.  Now it's all over cable and every place else.  What does it say about the old media gatekeepers that this story got out, that everybody found out about this, without our participation?"  

CARR:  “I was taught when I was a young reporter that it's news when we say it is.  I think that's still true, it's news when we say it is, it's just who "we" is has changed.  Members of the public, people with modems, people with cell phones are now producers, editors, they can push and push and push on a story until tends up being acknowledged by everyone.”

So what other news are they keeping from us?

Speaking of the Unintended consequences of Liberalism. 

The Communist Party USA’s newspaper is defending Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama against potential defectors on the left, saying his candidacy represents a “broad multi-class, multicultural movement.”

You can see a connection between the teaching Obama received at his congregation in Chicago under Rev. Wright leaning left and promotion of socialist ideals. Then there was the terrorist organization Hamas coming out for Obama. So are we really surprised that the Communist Party’s paper in the States supports an Obama presidency? 

You know Obama is good for the nation when communists, socialists, terrorists, etc. want him for president.

(Washington) We are seeing examples of the types of CHANGE Senator Obama and Speaker Pelosi hope to bring to our great nation. For starters, we see that they do not have a fundamental understanding of Capitalism but are no neophytes to Socialism. Both Senator Obama and Speaker Pelosi are opposed to the majority of American’s call for drilling within our boarders to increase supply and lower the price of oil. The Democrat leaders are calling for American’s to check the air pressure in their tires, change their oil and get tune-ups for their vehicles.

Senator Obama made the observation that if we allowed for drilling in American boarders we would not see any benefit for seven years. This realization then prompted Senator Obama to consider that it took a year to grow crops before we could sell or consume them. “What is the point of planting when we don’t get immediate relief for our labor?” asked Obama. “If we cannot, if we cannot get food to feed the hungry in a day or two what is the purpose. It is serving the purposes of Big Agriculture to fuel their big windfall profits and I will not give in to the same Bush policies that put food on American’s tables and money in the pockets of Agriculture tycoons. (Crowd Applause in the background) No I can’t.”

Surprisingly, Senator Obama has also said that in his administration, he would cut funds for education. “Students, languish in classes, doing nothing, to help the workforce, or the economy for two, four, sometimes eight or more years. This economy needs immediate results, and we cannot wait for students, to go through four or eight years of school. Instead, I am calling for a comprehensive plan to have American’s read two hours a day. Pick up a book, or listen to a book online. Go to the internet and select a subject and learn what you can in a day and then apply it to your life, your work, your moment. This is our moment to shine. We are the ones we have been waiting for.”

This has stirred certain outrage on College campuses around the nation, but has received ecstatic approval in Europe.

So Senator Obama’s energy plan is right out of the Jimmy Carter Presidency. He is telling his drones that if they get a tune up on their car, and change the oil, and inflate the tires properly, they can save as much oil as we could get from drilling.

Then Senator Obama says that he wants to rob from the successful Oil companies to give to the poor consumers. So if some hoodlums want to get their rebate check from the local Gas Station by robbing it, they would have the approval of Obama. After all, Big oil has stolen from them, so it is right to steal from Big Oil either at gun point or through taxation.

This would certainly represent CHANGE, but is it change in the right direction. Isn’t crime in Cleveland bad enough without the new world President giving approval to commit more crimes in the name of fairness?

But freedom loving Americans say: YES we Can!

European Presidential hopeful Barak OBAMA  says: "We Can’t keep our homes on, you know, 72 degrees at all times and -- whether we're living in the desert or we're living in the tundra, and then just expect that every other country is going to say, okay, you know you guys go ahead and keep on using 25% of the world's energy, even though you only account for 3% of the population, and we'll -- we'll be fine, don't worry about us."

But freedon loving American’s say: Yes we Can!

Obama and his Party want to take away American freedoms to please their buddies in Europe. Can we stop him from achieving this goal?

YES WE CAN! Don’t vote for the inexperienced socialist loving Obama.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth and He also created time and He made it linear and with a purpose. In that time line He chose a people to bless and through whom He would bring redemption to the entire world (Gen 12:1-3). God raised up leaders and civilizations and he brought them down, all according to His providential plan to bring about His kingdom and to bring glory to His name (Acts 17:26-27). At just the right time the Father sent the Son to redeem humanity from their sin (Galatians 4:3-5). The next big event on history’s calendar is the Return of the King to claim His Kingdom and the heavens and the earth will be remade.

Paul tells us that Christ was involved in the creation process. All things were created by Him and for Him and are held together by Him. Colossians 1:16-17 “For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” We read in the gospel of John a similar statement John 1:3 "Through [Christ] all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.”

God has made the universe and that includes the earth. He made if for His own specific purpose, and He is holding it together, or you might say His sovereign will is being exercised over the earth even as you read. There is nothing that escapes His control. 

But every day I find brothers and sisters in the Lord who believe that mankind has greater power than God and that man has usurped power that once belonged to our Creator God. They believe that man has the power to destroy what God’s word says He has established and maintains. Where do ideas like that come from, and why do Christians believe it? This thinking does not represent the God of the Bible, but one they have been sold of human origin. 

Is your faith in God so weak that you believe man can wrestle the control over the earth from His hands? Is your faith so weak that you think man can obstruct God’s providence over the earth and the people and the kingdoms of this world? Has your faith in Christ been hijacked and replaced with a faith in man or a fear of man? O’ little sheep, your faithful Shepherd is looking for you (Matt 18:12-14). We are all prone to wandering, but the Shepherd wants us to be returned to the Flock. Don’t listen to the calls of the wolf, but return your attention to the Shepherd of your soul. He will recover you and strengthen you and restore you. 

Like it says in Daniel 4:34-35 I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever. His dominion is an eternal dominion; his kingdom endures from generation to generation. All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: "What have you done?"

Before the mainstream media joined the Obama for President Campaign, they used to report from Iraq while the situation in Iraq was in turmoil. This allowed them to give support for Liberals in Congress who wanted to surrender Iraq to “al Qaeda in Iraq”.

But once the surge began to work under General Petraeus, the media stopped reporting from Iraq. Why they didn’t want to report the success and many military and political victories appears now to be their bias against the Bush administration. With their election to throw off all pretense to the notion of being unbiased and joining Senator Obama’s campaign we can see why good news from Iraq wasn’t being reported to the people back home. 

Sadly, as they tour Iraq with their candidate, they try to fool the American people by assigning US victories resulting from the surge to Obama. It is like they have no conscience anymore in the media. I heard that NBC has now chosen to rename their station to MBC, the Messiah Barak Channel. Have they gone too far? Will American’s notice what they are doing to get their candidate elected? We will know in November. 

At least our Troops are getting some credit for the great job they have done, even if Obama trys to either steal their success for his own or give credit to the locals (knowing full well that without our Military creating an environmnet for success the locals would all be wearing “al Qaeda in Iraq freedom fighters for Obama” T-shirts. )

Article 29: The Marks of the True Church.

THE oldest of the doctrinal standards of the Christian Reformed Church is the Confession of Faith, popularly known as the Belgic Confession. 

During the sixteenth century the churches in this country were exposed to the most terrible persecution by the Roman Catholic government. To protest against this cruel oppression, and to prove to the persecutors that the adherents of the Reformed faith were not rebels, as was laid to their charge, but law-abiding citizens who professed the true Christian doctrine according to the Holy Scriptures, de Bräs prepared this confession in the year 1561. 

Although the immediate purpose of securing freedom from persecution was not attained, and de Bräs himself fell as one of the many thousands who sealed their faith with their lives, his work has endured and will continue to endure. 

One Article that should be revisited these days is the 29th Article which contains: 

Article 29: The Marks of the True Church. [excerpts] 

The true church can be recognized if it has the following marks: The church engages in the pure preaching of the gospel; it makes use of the pure administration of the sacraments as Christ instituted them; it practices church discipline for correcting faults. In short, it governs itself according to the pure Word of God, rejecting all things contrary to it and holding Jesus Christ as the only Head. By these marks one can be assured of recognizing the true church-- and no one ought to be separated from it. 

As for those who can belong to the church, we can recognize them by the distinguishing marks of Christians: namely by faith, and by their fleeing from sin and pursuing righteousness, once they have received the one and only Savior, Jesus Christ. They love the true God and their neighbors, without turning to the right or left, and they crucify the flesh and its works. 

As for the false church, it assigns more authority to itself and its ordinances than to the Word of God; it does not want to subject itself to the yoke of Christ; it does not administer the sacraments as Christ commanded in his Word; it rather adds to them or subtracts from them as it pleases; it bases itself on men, more than on Jesus Christ; it persecutes those who live holy lives according to the Word of God and who rebuke it for its faults, greed, and idolatry. 

These two churches are easy to recognize and thus to distinguish from each other. 

I have been a Christian for only twenty-some years and have seen the demise of a number of congregations because the leadership chose to assign more authority to itself than the Word of God. They saught to give more authority to the sinful behaviors of men than they did to the pursuit of righteousness. Church leaders and congregants these days are embracing and justifying sin and not “fleeing from sin”, which in the end leads to their spiritual death. Imagine where the church in America would be today, if it wasn’t so compromised with sin. 

It brings me back to Christ’s own words in  Luke 18:8b. “However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"  

Baghdad (IRAQ) – The newly formed Obama campaign team (formerly known as the CBS, NBC and ABC NEWS agencies) made their trip to the Middle East over the weekend giving Senator Obama a chance to be bolstered in the eyes of the dolt electorate known as the American voters. 

One of the Co- Campaign heads, Katie Couric , reported, “Does a meeting with Iraqi leaders give Senator Obama credibility as a foreign policy expert? You bet it does, unless you are one of those global warming deniers. And just look how handsome he looks being almost presidential. I can’t wait for when he gives his oath of office!”

Meanwhile back in the States, Senator McCain not wanting to be outdone sheared up his positions on the economy by visiting three of his local banks and talking to the loan managers about the cost of borrowing money in today’s economy. He also let reporters record him balancing his checkbook for the months of May and June. Concern was expressed as June’s balance was off by thirty seven cents. Monday Senator McCain plans to travel to the New York Stock Exchange and talk with leaders in the business and economy field.

I went to the candidate’s websites and looked at their stores. It is amazing what you can buy at their online stores (lots of junk). So since I am undecided  voter I thought it would be fun to buy a T-shirt and a hat from each candidate. 

McCain had all types and themes to choose from, but I settled on a hat that read “Hispanics for McCain” and a shirt that said “Dad for McCain”.

At Obama’s online store I purchased a hat that said “Muslims for Obama” (I almost bought the one that read "Osama for Obama" ) and a shirt that read “Aborted Babies for Obama”.

Reports from the Yellow Truck.

In an effort to get closer to the heart of the American people, I have taken off in my big Yellow Truck to chitchat with other American’s and find out what they are thinking. 

My next stop is out of Ohio across state lines to New York City where I have chosen Yankee Stadium and the MLB All-Star game to ask your typical American their views on America. I am stationed in the parking lot and asked Mike from Atlanta to join me in my Yellow Truck Tour interview. 

HT: Hi Mike, who did you come to cheer for tonight?

Mike: Chipper Jones, that boy can hit, and he deserves to be in tonight’s game.

HT: How many tickets do you have?

Mike: [holds his tickets close to his heart guardedly] I could only afford two, one for me and one for my son. With the cost of flying these days we had to leave my wife home to be here. I feel bad for her, being left at home, but she understands. [flashes a sympathetic look me.]

HT: Ouch! Sounds like you have hit some hard times in the Bush economy. Would you mind sharing with me what each ticket cost?

Mike: These here tickets were a steal for four hundred and fifty dollars. [shows me the tickets and the original price of $250]

HT: For the two of them?

Mike: No, no, that was a piece. That’s $450 each.

HT: In the Bush economy, how do you afford such luxuries? 

Mike: Heck, it has been a good year for me and I worked hard to earn these tickets. It is the American dream to works hard and reap the rewards. Too many American’s are sittin’ around waiting for handouts. That isn’t how I was raised though. Work hard, play hard. That’s my way! [Slaps me on the shoulder]

HT: Looks like you are not alone Mike. Tonight’s game is a sellout. Thanks for chatting with me.

Mike: No problem, enjoy the game.
