All of the House sessions are supposed to end up on the legislature's website and somehow this episode was left off...until now. Below are the videos of State Rep. Jennifer Callahan on May 2 as she discussed being threatened on the job.

Doesn't surprise me...the strong arm tactic of Dimasi what do they say about absolute power corrupts...i haven't seen anything like this since the time (D)Congressman Speedy Gonzalez I believe of TEXAS during the Anita Hill hearings when he wouldn't allow any of the Republicans speak out in his hearing that sat on his committee he used the same exact response "You dont have a right to express your view or thought" What have we turned to Stalinism? isn't his what we accused the Soviet Union or the East Germany before the wall came down of doing....

Thanks for posting this, Joe. Your reports definitely show that you ALWAYS "do your homework." I had a bad run-in (and a dreadful onslaught of "political posse" thereafter) with Reps. DiMasi, Rep. Tobin and former Sen. Jacques some time ago on the issue of exposing not only known child molesters, but the DSS agents which cloak and shield them. My presentation before the Judiciary Committee was, of course, very well prepared and excellently documented, by the way. Quite a neat little racket -- when an injured child reveals an hideous experience, aware enough to identify their attacker and the parent properly REPORTS to law enforcement -- law enforcement is required(?) to report a Ch. 119, s. 51 "report of child abuse" (whether or not the parent is the perpetator?) -- at which point, the SS agent singularly makes the determination (with NO OVERSIGHT) to intrude upon, interfere and accuse the parent of "abuse and neglect" -- NOT THE MOLESTER! -- the parent becomes the focus of a malicious DSS investigation and those molesters which have "team players" in the MA legislature go uncharged, uninterupted, free to savage children for another 15 years. All this, mind you, while enduring the agony and aftermath of a little child suffering such unconscionable brutality. KUDOS to Rep. Callahan! Excellent job! Speak the truth to power -- just don't report any "connected" child molesters.

Just curious, but I haven't heard of any "follow up" on this episode. I guess the Legislature opted for "cover up"!
