It's pretty clear now it's not going to be Hillary Clinton, but there are lots of other good veep candidates out there. Obama girl, Oprah, Mitt  Romney....
Let me know  who you think would be a good running mate for Barack. I am holding out for John Kerry.

I am thinking Obama should select the tumor removed from Kennedy's head as his running mate. Just imagine the possibilities: The promising freshman and the one who finally unseated Ted Kennedy!

Geez, not Kerry aka Flipper. It is time for him resign anyway. Richardson is a good choice, experience, intelligence. I have seen the pundits short list of choices, and most are good, excluding Hillary.

Wes Clark would be a great choice.

Oprah doesn't sound like a bad choice or would she except it at all. Thanks, Casimir T.Zigulis

It won't matter since he could pick a folding chair as his VP and will still wipe out McCain come Nov. Ironically the folding chair would be more genuine and personable than old Mitty R. But I'd personally like him to stick it to Hillsie and pick a woman (Sebelius, Napolitano or McCaskill) since that would irritate her to no end. But chances are it's either Jim Webb or Sherrod Brown. I'd personally go with Webb since all the white supremacist wackos on the right would have a field day with a ticket called Obama-Brown. Unless of course they're too busy over the next few months trying to get the 13th-15th amendments repealed before the election.

I'd run with Obama. He won't return my calls.

Seriously, tho...Biden, Richardson or Gov. Rendell are three good options to me. I'm not sure if he'd ever pick her now but McCaskill could be the new Hillary.

Seems the only one he listens to, or who has any say is his wife. So I say, Michelle Obama. What a pair they are....

Better yet, I say Caroline Kennedy. Since when is this woman involved in politics? Oy.

I think Obama can take anyone for a running mate and win. He really looks polished and McCain looks like he is always telling a bad joke. Re: The remark to Brian Williams last night that Obama will be Jimmy Carter's second term. I know he was responding to Obama's remark about a third term for Bush. McCain has to stop responding and initiate the thoughts and conversation.

Six days in the spotlight...no responses...no new posts...no new ideas....when is management going to get it?

Who cares about Senator Obama, I think that Senator McCain should pick either Mitt Romney or J.C. Watts as his running mate.

JC Watts....Now THERE is the big hurt for the Dems....

Now there is a thought....McCain and Romney. The whole country can fall to sleep while watching them lose. Two of the most boring people on the planet. The Obama/Clinton race was exciting and kept the whole country watching. I think McCain needs to get someone like Billy Crystal to keep things interesting.
