Read the latest on the Pats 'investigations'. First of, this has nothing to do with the Pats cheating. This man is in bed with Comcast and I can't believe no one is investigating for how much. The second thing is the reference to 'committee money'. Someone please read this and let me know what that is. If it is what I think it is, I am now officially ashamed of this government.
Ok, NOW I'm Annoyed

Ok, so ESPN's Jerry Crasnick has already started in on the Sox and pitchers and catchers haven't even reported to spring training yet! He's already started the discussion on whether or not the Boston Red Sox can be a future dynasty after their 2 World Series wins. In his article, he's made the case for it and the case against it with his verdict being that the Sox won't do it because the Patriots couldn't. I'm sorry, I don't understand how apples and oranges have anything in common except for the fact that they are both fruits. Can we enjoy the success of the Sox for a while without the infamous "sports analyst" whom I refer to as 'sports analyst NOT' (although I prefer Chip's name for them), bringing them down already or setting HUGE expectations that no one is really expecting thus creating the hate that only they know how to generate? Can they just point their attention somewhere else for a while?
Baseball season hasn't even started yet and they are already gearing up to tear them down. Unbelievable!

Here are the letters folks. The first link is the 2 letters sent by Specter. The second link is the response by Goodell. I love it how Specter only deemed this an issue when the Pats were about to play the Eagles. Can he be more pathetic??
To all the doubters......

You would think that poor Anthony Smith (Steelers) would have taught the rest of the NFL to shut up and play and not fuel the fire that feeds the Pats. Well, I guess Igor Olshansky, defensive end for the Chargers missed class that day. See the quotes for yourselves.....
"When he was asked about the Patriots, he said, "Who? The Patriots? Oh, trust me they know whats up, they are more worried than us".
AND
"The way that we're playing now, nothing can stop us," defensive end Igor Olshansky boasted after that game. "The way that we overcome adversity and everything else. I guarantee you that Belichick and everybody else over there are scratching their heads saying, 'Man, we better get ready.'"
You guys should check out the blog on their website about this because it's actually quite funny. http://forums.chargers.com/showthread.php?t=52264<

Like the Patriots need any more reasons to quick their hind quarters!!!!!

God's Country
A man in Topeka, Kansas, decided to write a book about churches around the country. He started by flying to San Francisco and started working east from there.
Going to a very large church, he began taking photographs and making notes. He spotted a golden telephone on the vestibule wall and was intrigued with a sign, which read, "Calls: $10,000 a minute."
Seeking out the pastor he asked about the phone and the sign. The pastor answered that this golden phone is, in fact, a direct line to heaven and if he pays the price he can talk directly to God.
The man thanked the pastor and continued on his way. As he continued to visit churches in Seattle, Dallas, St. Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee, and around the United States, he found more phones with the same sign and the same answer from each pastor.
Finally, he arrived in Massachusetts. Upon entering a church in Boston, he saw the usual golden telephone. But THIS time, the sign read 'Calls: .35 cents.'
Fascinated, he asked to talk to the pastor, 'Reverend, I have been in cities all across the country and in each church I have found this golden telephone and have been told it is a direct line to Heaven and that I could talk to God, but in the other churches the cost was $10,000 a minute. Your sign reads only .35 cents a call. Why? Why?'
The pastor, smiling benignly, replied: 'Son, you're in Boston, Massachusetts; home of the Boston Red Sox, the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins and Boston College.' You're in God's Country, It's a local call.
Oh Patriots!!!!!!

My Patriots are back. That alone is enough reason for me to be ECSTATIC, but man what a way to start it off.......51-yard touchdown pass, 108-yard kickoff return touchdown (longest return touchdown in NFL history), Moss being here then there then here again, Brady being ON HIS GAME! Seriously, there were moments when I thought he was going to pull out a chair and a margarita he was taking so long to throw, but he had all the time in the world!!!!! I'm trying to hold in the emotions. I don't want to get ahead of myself, after all, this is only the first game but God, I missed them so much!!!!!!! My family is already complaining that they won't be speaking to my husband and me on Sundays until February or March. Oh well!!!
P.S - Best thoughts and wishes to Kevin Everett and his family. I sincerely hope he comes out well from his surgery and makes a 1000% recovery. May God be with him at this time!
