Good Morning Fellow Bloggers,

Wow what a morning we had in West Roxbury. Lots of nice residents came out to see Gene, VB, Cindy and me. Boston EMS set up a table and chatted with folks all morning.

It was a lot of fun to see how many young people came out to visit. Apparently some of the teachers at the local schools told the kids they could be late if they had a note from one of us on the crew. Very cute!!!

The food was great!!! The shops were awesome!!!! But the fans and the community spirit was the best part.

Thanks West Roxbury for all the fun...Next week, we are off to Essex! See you there.

I was really glad to see FIREHOUSE FRIDAY in W.Roxbury. for a minute I thought there was no people of color anywhere in MASS. this is my first time I saw SOMEONE of color other than "Q or SHEBA on 25 NEWS...especially ZIP TRIPS.

I really enjoyed the guys dancing. It was great to start my day laughing. I think you should take a trip to Tyngsboro so I could meet V.B. He is too cute!!

Sorry I missed you all last friday I lived in West Roxbury for 35 years with my mom, dad and sister. You are right there are some great things to see and eat in West Roxbury. One thing that you wont see which was a great bakery was Hanleys they had the best bake goods around they were on the corner of park st and centre st right next to Slynes deli. Now that would have been a real treat for everyone. Well have a good one and Hoping I can meet up with u all again soon.

Five words..."RON'S ICE CREAM HYDE PARK"
I felt soooo proud to see it advertised on GOOD MORNING AMERICA as one of the best, please go see for yourself. Although we are competing with other states I'm sure we will win!!!!
