Don’t you just hate it when athletes hang ‘em up and retire....only to change their mind down the road and come out of retirement and completely taint their legacy? It drives me nuts!! Brett Favre is the latest "Great One" to be contemplating coming out of retirement, and all I have to say is... ‘Please Brett, don't do it!’

Think about some of the great athletes that came out of retirement, only to make a fool of themselves. The image of Michael Jordan in a Washington Wizards uniform still makes me nauseous. Mario Lemieux did it in hockey, and of course Roger Clemens has done it a few times.

When you're a premier athlete in sports, you've got to know when to hang ‘em up, and more importantly, when to stay retired!

Lemieux averaged over one point per game when he came out of retirement. He never played a full season after unretiring.

Jordan retired twice. His first comeback led to a Three Peat.

Dont agree, Brett Farve is a great player. He has not even been retired for a full season yet. He could come back and do just as good as before. Its not even time for football season, we need to make sure the Celtics beat the Hawks
