MLB has decided that with the Red Sox and Rays set to start a 3 game series in St Petersburg on monday it is the perfect time for those players involved in the previous Sox Rays brawl to start serving their suspensions. Wrong!
Keeping Coco Crisp and James Shields and the rest of the fighting boys from facing each other again only serves to postpone the inevitable. Justice will eventually be metered out between the lines with these teams sooner or later. Baseball, like hockey, has a way of having justice served on the field when the games are played. The right thing to do would have been to warn both teams before this series started and let the boys have at it. They would have been on their best behavior and it would have added some spice to an already pretty spicy rivalry
