If you consider the NY post classless for their headline on Monday September 8, 2008 that read:  "Yahoo! Brady out for year".  Then what do we say about a website called believemerch.com

Take a look at the T shirt this site is selling.  It reads: "Bernard Pollard Fan Club, Established September 7, 2008"  and in the middle of it , it has Tom Brady's number 12 crossed out with the red Ghostbusters line through it.

A quick click around this site reveals that it's run by a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  So let me get this straight.  Steelers fans, according to this site, are supposed to take pleasure from Brady's pain?  Whatever is below classless, I think we just saw it.

Like I said in VB's blog, anyone that is going to wish bodily harm is just scum. Plain and simple. Tom Brady is a human being first; a football player second.

I feel better as a person knowing that I personally wouldn't be prematurely jumping for joy if someone like Brett Favre or Peyton Manning had a torn ACL.

On a side note, after Brady's injurt the Patritos' defence seemed a bit more blood thursty, so Roethlisberger better be more aware of his surroundings in November,

Oh yeah! There it is!! I've always wondered what laid below the layer of scum that layed BELOW infinite classlessness. Well, here it is. This is a good thing. Going forward, none of these teams will EVER have a right to call the Pats classless. Whatever our sins, we have NEVER rejoiced in someone's injury. And doing THAT is the lowest anyone can go before hell absorbs them.

I feel better. :)

Pats fans,
Do you Patriot fans remember the numerous jokes about Big Ben's Motorcycle accident? He almost died and that didn't stop anyone. Still today in my BOSTON office I hear jokes about his helmet, teeth, face etc... If you dish it learn how to take it. AND for the record I still think T. Brady was worse off for not wearing his helmet, remember he has a child because of it.

GoSteelers,

Under neither circumstances is it acceptable. The people in your office making fun of Roethlisberger's accident are scum too. It is unacceptable and classless from ANYONE on ANY TEAM. Period. One thing is fan banter from one team to another, something altogether different is making fun of a HUMAN BEING's injury. Person first, player second. It's scum.

GoSteelers, name one Patriots fan that tried to makea buck or two off Roethlisburger's accident?

As soon as you make money from it, it goes from a classless joke, to an evil transaction.

Troll account anyone? I think so!

The fact that someone would make an account the same day of this blog post and name it "GoSteelers" is just something that makes me say "Wade a minute"... oops nevermind. Just don't feed the troll.

When you're really good at something people will try to bring you down. This speaks volumes about all the poor sports out there.

GOSTEELERS,
come move to Boston for a few years. Maybe you'll learn some class. Your team isn't good and our team is. Deal with it!

Oh yeah poor sport steelers fan, I never heard one joke about Rothlisberger, nor did I ever wish him any harm. Hopefully for your sake being in Boston will give you some class.

We need to use classless acts like this to uplift ur own behavior as fans. It is a learning experience for us, as New England fans, and an opportunity to teach our children.

Moral of the story: Respect your Opponents.

(If I were a Steeler, I'd feel a victory against a Pats team without Brady was less of a victory. Ya gotta beat the big boys....)

It's funny to hear all about class from Boston fans. Walking off the field before the Super Bowl is over, CHEATING and having 2 bastard children. Now tell me about having class again.

ohrover,

Is that all your sour, poor sport arse can come up with?

Cheating?- wrong!

2 Bastard children? What does that have to do with Boston fans having, or not having class? What are you talking about? That was way out of line.

Belichick walked on the field before the game was "technically" over. He was ON the field at the end of the game so get your facts straight.

You're reaching for straws.

You want to talk about funny. ohrover? You say Belichick walked off the field, yeah the sideline, with one second left on the clock and did he not shake Tom Caughlin's hand at the end of the game? He sure did. So, you show me a classless coach who loses a superbowl and still shakes the winning coaches hand. It doesn't add up to me.
There. That's hilarious isn't it? I'll give you some time to swallow that one.

Because this is so easy,

I'm guessing I'm not arguing with true football fans. By the way I do live in Boston (10yrs now) and you could bye Big Ben "helmet" shirts at Fenway after the accident along with the "Big Ben grill" (plastic teeth) on the web, you need to get out more.
As for who the better team is... a true Pats fan would not argue this. He would say things like Chip did "(If I were a Steeler, I'd feel a victory against a Pats team without Brady was less of a victory. Ya gotta beat the big boys....)" already counting his team out. Teach that to your young'ins!

Compare stats and get back to me. As a matter of fact look at the QB ratings for your precious T. Brady for his first 3 or 5 yrs and compare them to Big Ben's first 3 or 5 yrs, I dare ya. Remember the Steeler fan base out numbers the Pats by about 14 to 1 and you don't have to take out a second mortgage to go to a game for SRO.

Now the cheating thing isn't grasping for straws, you were fined more than any team has ever been fined in NFL history. Rodney Harrison admitted to using HGH? If this was baseball he would get an *. However, I don't really care about the vids or drugs. I'm here to say that a shirt about a blown ACL isn't a big deal. "Human Injuries" are expected to occur every week, ask a fantasy player.
As for people making money from shirts, have you been to Fenway lately? You can buy a classless shirt about the Yankees, Giants QB, Payton Manning etc... And yes If they get hurt I'm sure they would sell those shirts too. Yankee's suck chants, you're right, classy!

PS. You

Okay, let's compare. Tom Brady has won three superbowls in a 4 year span and he didn't start his first year in the NFL. That right there is all I have to say that goes along with the long list of Brady's accomplishments.

Ben Roethisburger is just an over-rated up and down QB who is in the game one week and throwing the game the next.

Also, "cheating" is too strong of a word. Even the NFL commissioner said the Patriots didn't use these tapes while a game was underway. yes, you aren't supposed to tape other coaches during the game, that's what they got fined for, but they weren't looking at this film while the game was underway. So there.

Trust me, you can try alld ay to prove me wrong on this issue and you're not going to change my mind and I'll keep typing back the more you dissagree with me, so you're better off stoping right now.

People take this stuff way too serious.
Yeah I'm a Patriots fan and it blows what happen to Brady. It's going to make for a very long season and I wish Cassel the best and I behind him all the way.
This shirt is just someone is making a buck off of Bradys misfortune, that's the american way.
If Tom played for the Steelers or Ben for the Patriots the conversation would be switched around. People getting uptight about nothing.
It's a game folks.

Pesonally, the shirt doesn't bother me. You have to just expect stuff like that. It's the poor-sport fans not giving credit where credit is due that make me sick. If you want to joke or wisecrack that's fine. But at the end of the day a congragulations is in order. Some morons just don't get that.

HEY! My house and car is bigger than your house and car!!!! HAHA TAKE THAT!!!!

Seriously, something the level of childishness in some folks who claim to be grown up is overwhelming. I'm glad I left kindergarten already!!!

Matt, save your time and finger energy. There are stuffed up Pats Haters EVERYWHERE. The mark of a truly successful team is to have the largest HATERS fan base. We win.

Oh and GoSteelers, you really want to bring up HGH? YOU? STEELERS FAN??? That's really, really rich. Hilarious!

I am a Patriots season ticket holder and have been for 12 years. I became a fan when the team was formed and went to games at Nickerson Field as well as Harvard Stadium, before we even HAD a stadium.

For the record, I find all bad behavior by fans against other fans atrocious. Sure I'll yell from the stands...at officials, coaches and players. But it's rooting behavior and meant without malice.

This shirt is way over the top as would be any reference to Rhlisberger's motorcycle accident, or Tom Brady's child.

Men play football, boys wear tee shirts...
