The results may shock you and may also help you change your driving habits so you can keep a little more dough in your pocket. And who doesn't want that in this down economy?

In the report, they also talk about gas prices soaring to $3.50 per gallon, which studies show is the psychological threshold where drivers say they will change their ways. Personally, I think once gas prices eclipsed $3.00 per gallon, people really started taking a closer look at their driving habits, or perhaps what kind of car they'd like to buy.

I know there's talk of $4.00 a gallon by this summer, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there ... hopefully with a full tank of gas already in the tank!
