I admit it, it's one of my guilty pleasures. I'm talking about fantasy football...and if you know anything about this national obsession that has hundreds of thousands of football fans mesmerized, then you know my life has been altered in a way that at times can be both exhilarating and painful. The latter describes week one for me...let's just say things didn't go exactly as planned. My tight end Ben Watson doesn't play, Laverneus Coles bags me a doughnut, Fred Taylor can muster only a point while Ben Utecht actually loses a point! Imagine how much more pain I'd be feeling today if I'd taken Tom Brady over Peyton Manning in my draft?

Hopefully, Brady will be back soon and hopefully my team can rebound from a woeful week one. That's the great thing about playing fantasy football, I've got a week now to try and improve my club and who knows, with a few shrewd moves along the way, I might just make it into the win column in week 2. The question is how much time will I have to spend on the computer trying to revamp my roster? A few minutes, a few hours, a few days? How 'bout you? How'd your team fare this week? Thoughts, suggestions they're all welcome and for those of you who stumbled out of the gate like me remember, misery loves company so feel free to spill your guts here.

Mark,
I am in 3 different leagues, 2 on yahoo 1 on NFL network, I find that if I just let the computer pick my teams I usually make out really well.
I mean of course I edit the ones I want first,
then 99% of the time I get who was edited.

legendkiller34,

I edited the ones I wanted...but then on my vacation jumped into the draft at the last minute...not a good move in hindsight.

Mark,
I know when the time comes for the draft I
have to sit on my hands, so I don't try and draft anyone.(just kidding)
The best part is,talking the smack, that comes along each week.

legendkiller34,

Speaking of smack talk...when I took Peyton Manning with my first pick, Butch asked me why not Brady?

Mark,
What you could say is something like this:
"To the Self Proclaimed Mayor Of Braintree,
(Butchie Sterns) one should worry about one's own team before they try and conquer the rest of the field.Oh and Jack's Joke Shop called
they want their Robes and swords back."

That Mark is how the Smack Talk gets going.
LOL LOL

Mark,
you should try and get something going, where
the bloggers take on the anchors and anchoress's of fox25 for the football season.
that could be interesting?
