As if we didn't have enough reasons to believe in evolution, Jenna Bush gave us another one last night. Jenna was on Larry King Live selling the book, Read All About it!, she ''wrote'' with her mother.

Not surprisingly, the nightly CNN gabapalooza turned to discussing the current never ending election. Of course, Mrs. Bush expressed support for John McCain.

Jenna said she had been too busy to follow the election and didn't know if she favored McCain. She admitted to being open to all the candidates.

She could easily have given a no comment or a generic comment like 'McCain is a great American'' and dodged the question.

She appeared genuine in her answer. But, I think saying you are open to all the candidates is a chickenbleep answer. If you know your values and keep informed, then your decision is pretty simple this year.

Matty, If a year ago she said she was open to ALL the candidates I would have believed her, at this stage of the game, chicken-poop is being kind.....

Why should she have to commit to a candidate in an interview? No matter what she said, someone would pounce on it. I mean if she said she was behind McCain people would accuse her of saying so because Daddy told her to or she's influenced by the party. If she said she was behind one of the democrats she would be called on the carpet for that. I'm not a fan of the Bush family but everyone knows she'd be damned either way.

I'd have expected her to say she wouldn't discuss the election. I'm surprised she came so close to an actual opinion.

She probably wanted to say "none of your business" but didn't want to come across as "Chelsea like".

It seems obvious which candidate Chelsea is supporting. If Jenna was asked a question like the one Chelsea was that prompted the "none of your business" answer, she'd reply similarly.

OR...maybe she told the truth...that she is waiting for a real choice after the primaries and will listen openly to what arises as the debate.

BUT...heaven forbid we see the decency in anyones statements...

I've said it before. I don't see anything wrong with Chelsea telling people it was none of their business. I would have done the same thing. The whole thing was blown way out of proportion. God I can't wait for this election to be over.
