Hello everyone!! I'm sure that I am not alone on this one. Why is it that good service is hard to find? Whether it's at the grocery store, retail stores or restaurants, it's just not there anymore. Let's start with food shopping.. you get to the checkout line and there is only maybe three lanes open. When you finally reach the register, the cashier barley looks at you never mind says "Hello." I always am the one to say hi first. Just when you think it's finally over, NO BAGGER. You have to bag your own groceries!! I end up leaving many times in a bad mood. This mainly applies to Shaws and Stop and Shop. Roche Bros. is awsome!! Then how many times do you go into a store with a question about a specific item. You look for a store associate and they have no idea what your talking about. I've honestly had someone say to me, "I don't know. I just work here!" HELLO!! That's not the answer I was looking for. This was a high priced item and I wanted to make sure it was right for me. I had to wait twenty minutes for a manager come out and help me. Then there are restaurants..need I say more? Granted, I have two children and when we go out to eat it's more casual dining places, not gormet. But that shouldn't matter. You wait for a server to greet you, after hearing them fight over who's going to take the table because they want to go home, then by the time you order, get your food, you relize that you have no silverware, napkins and so on and so on. But arn't they quick to drop the check though?! I never complained before but enough is enough. It is up to these businesses to tain their staff and stress GOOD customer service! It's the customers money that is being spent keeping them in business.
