The time has come for me to see one of my favorite bands in true form live.
I was born in 1973 and the 4 most influential bands in my teen years were, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Van Halen:
Page and Plant made it out on 2 tours and I was lucky enough to attend both.
Roger Waters in the flesh tour was fantastic, followed closely by Dave Gilmore’s Pink Floyd band on the Divison Bell Tour....
Black Sabbath toured with Dio over the summer and played a great show for being in their 60`s.
Now it is time to see Van Halen with their original lineup.
Dave looks good with short hair and Eddy is clean again and looks great.
The set list is off the chart!

Are there any VH fans out there?
Anyone else going to this sold out show?

The so called experts are forecasting that LB Paul Posluszny from Penn Sate University will end up with the Pats.
Since I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa, (The Mecca of Football) and have watched every Penn State/Steelers game for 20 plus years, I will give you my scouting on Paul.
Paul is a stud; he won the Butkis award in his Jr year and plays hard on every down. Intense and competitive...Has a motor that never stops and a phenomenal work ethic...A solid athlete...More than holds his own in coverage...Good strength and plays bigger than he is...Excels at reading and reacting to the action...Very smart and a team leader...A playmaker.
Who does this sound like? (Tedy Bruschi)
If Paul did not blow his knee out in the Orange bowl, when Jo Pa and company beat FSU in a great game, he would be the first line backer selected.
The pats can end up with the best line backer in the draft with the 30th pick overall because of the knee injury.
He played solid in his senior year and recovered quit well from the torn knee.
The experts are telling us that my beloved Steelers will also draft a line backer in the first round at 15# to try and fill the void left by Joey Porter. I would love to see us draft Paul but I think we need a Corner Back more.
Pats fans!
Who would you like to see the Pats draft or what position needs to be immediately addressed?

For those of us who could not make to Austin Texas for the SXSW festival.
Here is a link to some music clips and interviews that my little brother filmed during SXSW.
He worked his tush off, so it would be cool if you can take a look.
If you love new music from Indy to Progressive and everything in between, this is a must see!

I feel like my kids watch too much TV all ready.
I am addicted to Sports & Film.
Frank Zappa wrote a great song about TV called I’m The Slime.
I thought I would share the lyrics.
I’m The Slime.
I am gross and perverted
Im obsessed n deranged
I have existed for years
But very little had changed
I am the tool of the government
And industry too
For I am destined to rule
And regulate you
I may be vile and pernicious
But you cant look away
I make you think Im delicious
With the stuff that I say
I am the best you can get
Have you guessed me yet?
I am the slime oozin out
From your tv set
You will obey me while I lead you
And eat the garbage that I feed you
Until the day that we dont need you
Dont got for help...no one will heed you
Your mind is totally controlled
It has been stuffed into my mold
And you will do as you are told
Until the rights to you are sold
Thats right, folks..
Dont touch that dial
Well, I am the slime from your video
Oozin along on your livinroom floor

Bill Belichick vs. Marty Schottenheimer:
Marty ball has yet to win in the playoffs and Belichick`s playoff record speaks for it self.
This coaching match up clearly favors Belichick.
ADVANTAGE: Belichick
Tom (gun) Brady vs. Philip Rivers
Do I really need to type anything here???
ADVANTAGE: Tom
LaDainian Tomlinson vs. Laurence Maroney/Corey Dillon:
Even though the thunder and lightning combo of Maroney and Dillion has been very solid all year, LT get the advantage due to his stellar consistent production year in and year out. (We might need to call the Pats combo thunder and thunder)
ADVANTAGE: LT
San Diego Receiving Core vs. Patriots Receiving Core:
Both teams have average underrated wide receivers that play solid football.
No big names and no big mouths, they get the job done when called upon.
ADVANTAGE: EVEN
Patriots Defense vs. San Diego Defense:
Both defenses are in the top 4 defenses in the league along with the Ravens and bears. The chargers have better Linebackers but Belichicks game planning will compensate for that. Wilfork is a beast and so is Jamal Williams.
Advantage: Even
This will be a very close game.
The Pats will try and to stack 8 in the box and force Rivers to beat him with his arm. He is a newbie to the playoff environment and you never know how one will perform.
This review was created by a non bias Steelers fan...

Hangman, hangman, hold it a little while,
I Think I see my friends coming, Riding a many mile (Robert Plant)
Well, no one will be able to ride upon Saddam with some silver or some gold to save him from the wrath of the gallows pole.
After looking at the images of dead children on CNN, I would like to be the person who pulls the lever.
How do you feel about this man?
Saddam fact:
Saddam received the key to Detroit city back in 1980
(Thank god for Jerome “The Bus” Bettis who was the first person to receive the key to Detroit since Saddam)

make my living off the evening news
Just give me something, something I can use
People love it when you lose, they love dirty laundry
Well, I could've been an actor, but I wound up here
I just have to look good, I don't have to be clear
Come and whisper in my ear, give us dirty laundry
Kick 'em when they're up, kick 'em when they're down
We got the bubbleheaded bleach-blonde, comes on at 5
She can tell you about the plane crash with a gleam in her eye
It's interesting when people die, give us dirty laundry
Can we film the operation? Is the head dead yet?
You know the boys in the newsroom got a running bet
Get the widow on the set, we need dirty laundry
You don't really need to find out what's going on
You don't really want to know just how far it's gone
Just leave well enough alone, keep your dirty laundry
Kick 'em when they're stiff, kick 'em all around
Dirty little secrets, dirty little lies
We got our dirty little fingers in everybody's pie
Love to cut you down to size, we love dirty laundry
We can do the innuendo, we can dance and sing
When it's said and done, we haven't told you a thing
We all know that BLEEP is king, give us dirty laundry

It’s that time of year again so I am posting this blog to find out what your favorite holiday movies are.
Hopefully someone will post a movie I have yet to see and I will netflix it.
One of my favorite Christmas movies is National Lampoons Christmas Vacation:
My favorite all time Hanukkah movie is the Hebrew Hammer which is a very low budget extremely funny comedy staring Andy Dick:

After watching the Celtics last night lose another close game, I think its time the Celtics get rid of Doc.
This team plays good in the fist 3 quarters but seems to continually get outplayed in the 4th quarter.
If a basketball team loses by more than 8 points, it’s the players fault.
If a team loses by less than 6, it’s the coach’s fault.
Pierce took a bad shot from 3 when the Celtics were down by 1.
Wally driving baseline when they needed 3 exposed the bad coaching and the lack of premeditating plays and recognizing the game scenario with in the last 2 minutes of a game yet again..
