Unfortunately the Patriots loss in Super Bowl XLII now falls into the category of some of the Biggest Upsets in Sports History. I know we don't want to hear it, or even think about it, but the Giants upsets has gotta be up there.

Here are some of the other Huge Sports Upsets of all time. The Pats will now be on the winning end and the losing end of two of the biggest upsets.

What do you think? Does this game belong on the list? And does it take away from what the Patriots accomplished in the regular season?

The Giants definitely outplayed us and Brady just wasnt on target when we needed it the most. I still cant beleive my Patriots just lost. Im gonna need counseling.

Yeah, huge upset but you have to give props to the Giants. They did what they had to do. Our offensive line stayed home today.

Yeah, this is huge upset but they should rewind the tape because the was an error in regards to the time clock. I think they should play the last three minutes of the last quarter.

I thought Brady was despicable tonight. The moment he walked out onto that field he had a miserable demeanor and piss-a$$ attitude the whole game. When you have negative energy, your team can feel it. Moss and Welker were great and I give the rest of the team props for keeping the energy up. It's too bad Brady lost it for them.

The low scores just goes to show how hard each team was playing. I think just about everyone overshot their predictions...including me...but I knew it would be close.

After winning all season, to have it come down to the last few seconds and lose has to be one Super Bowl nobody will forget...especially Brady! He seemed to be off his game, over-throwing the ball too many times, or holding on to it too many times...how many times did he get sacked?...at least four or five! That's rare. But, Manning deserved his win...a great player and will now get to flash his ring at his brother! (I'm devastated! :( )

Patriots and their fans both deserve this loss. You all have been big headed and over confident that you're precious Pats were gonna win. That's why they lost, over confidence. Plus their cheaters, not to mention it should have been my Chargers at this Superbowl, but we'll save that for another discussion. Bill Belichick should go back to Boston with his head between his tail.

Oh, btw, I don't see it as a big upset...the Giants had won their last six games and they were ready and a strong match for the Patriots. No easy team...which they proved not to be. And as an aside; those guys are huge! They made the Pats look like little boys...(sorry Pats.) Now I know why they're called the Giants! :)

Hey, EMarshall25! You'd have a big head, too, if your team won 18-0 for the season! The Pats are the best team going...unfortunately, odds are, you can't win them all...bummer that it had to be this one!

And, give up the 'cheaters' jag...every team has done it just about! Doesn't make it right, but they aren't the only guilty ones. What else ya' got?

I blame it on Belichick, What's the deal with the red sweat shirt all of a sudden. I'll never forgive him.......

86 World Series was more heartbreaking; Pats vs Rams was more unexpected; Sox coming back from 3 games down vs. NY; my all time biggest upset: Montreal vs Boston in '71 Stanley Cup playoffs

well i don't consider it big, but i guess it's already on the list so can't do anything about it.

one game changes everything, how sad. everyone should just stop repeating the same things over and over we all know the pats lost, we all know it's one of the biggest upsets, just move on with more interesting stuff about the pats and the aftermath

Shanniesdad, I just said the same thing the 86 World Series with Bill Buckner, will never forger that...

C_Fox, "odds are, you can't win them all" Well, the Dolphins did, and the Pats should have.

Guys,
The Pats had a great season. Let's not come down on them this way like we are NY fans or something.

Giants fans on this blog,
I'm glad to see you guys are all grown up. Congrats on that.
