With Curt Schilling out at least half the season with an injured shoulder and Josh Beckett nursing an injured back, the Red Sox suddenly have a couple of big holes in their starting rotation. My question to you Sox fans is...Are you worried?

Right now we are looking at an opening day rotation of:

Daisuke Matsuzaka, Tim Wakefield, Jon Lester, and then 2 from the group of Clay Buchholz, Bartolo Colon, Julian Tavarez, Kyle Snyder. Not exactly the rotation we envisioned heading into 2008.

Are you concearned? And who do you think should fill the holes in the rotation?

I'm not worried. The season hasn't even started, it's too early to worry. I'd be worry if this was happening in July or August, but not now. The good thing about this is that it's happening now. Plenty of time to make changes and adjustments. In recent years, the Sox have managed to find a way to cover the holes. I have confidence.

worried maybe..I can tell ya that mr Matsuzaka wasn't worth ..or IS NOT worth the money and now we are stuck with him..All you sports people are saying ."well, you have to give him 2 or 3 yrs"..well first of all Beckett(and Paplebon)(as far as pitching goes) won it for us as far as last year goes..Second is you are all going to eat your words after the third year..I find it ashame that we can't seem to find talent right here in out own back yards....
