The NFL has converged on South Florida for it's annual League meetings, and as you probably guessed...the most popular topic among the media is "Spygate"
Bill Belichick talked with the media on Tuesday for over an hour and was surprisingly open to talking about the Pats video taping practices and the team's former video assistant Matt Walsh. Here are some highlites:
When asked about the accusations that the Patriots taped the Rams walk through before the 2002 Super Bowl, Belichick said "I've never seen a tape of another team's practice. Ever! Certainly not that one."
When asked about former employee Matt Walsh, Belichick said "I barely knew Matt Walsh. He was hired before I became the coach."
It's interesting to hear Belichick directly address the issue of the Rams walk through. He sure sounds emphatic about never seeing another team's practice.
What do you guys think? Do you believe Belichick? Do you want the NFL to try and talk to Matt Walsh or do you want "Spygate" to just go away?
