It looks like we may be seeing the beginning of the end, when it comes to Spygate. I don't know about you, but I say it's about time. I am so tired of this story!

In case you haven't heard, the NFL and former Pats video assistant Matt Walsh have come to an agreement, that will allow the two sides to finally meet. The meeting will take place in New York on May 13, and Walsh will be required to hand over any tapes or evidence he may have against the Patriots. In exchange, the NFL and Patriots have agreed not to sue Walsh.

It should be very interesting to see what comes out of the meeting. Walsh is rumored to have evidence of the Patriots taping the Rams pre-Super Bowl workout back in 2002.

Meantime the Patriots released a statement today saying: "We are eagerly anticipating his honest disclosures to Commissioner Goodell next month and the return of all the materials he took during his time of employment. We fully expect this meeting to conclude the league’s investigation into a damaging and false allegation that was originally levied against the team on the day before this year's Super Bowl. "

Ryan,

DITTO!!! I am SO GLAD! I can't wait for this to be over if for no other reason than I won't have to hear the word Spygate for a while. I am SO SICK of this already. Finally, this little lying rat can get this over with and then go back to his hole in Hawaii and the useless fraud that calls himself a Senator in PA can go back to fattening his pockets with Comcast money some other way. Thank God!!!!!

Why did it take so long for this guy to agree to what they seem to have been offering all along?

Just stretching out is 15 minutes?

Does this mean Arlen Spector can get back to doing America's "real" business?

I heard a sports writer from New York, I think on the radio this morning say that he thinks Matt Walsh has tapes of defensive signals, but not the walk through from that SB. We shall see,and tom1964 is right, it's all about the 15 minutes. And that includes Specter. (Longest 15 minutes of my life!)
