So you wanna know why I have absolutely no confidence in the government to right our financial ship right now? Here's why:

This ACORN voter registration scandal tells me the Feds have no idea what's going on. ACORN has allegedly been registering people multiple times over (and offering cash and cigarettes to people to register), they've also been making up people, and registering dead people etc.

Now to the bailout. Remember the 1st bailout, the one that got voted down? One reason it went down is because House Democrats wanted a portion of any profit the government made post-bailout to go to certain community organizations. One of those groups -- ACORN. In other words, House Dems wanted ACORN to get money instead of YOU. And look what ACORN 's been up to.

Remind me again, why am I supposed to believe anything the government does here won't actually make matters WORSE in the long term? YEESH.

You know, the last thing I expected when I tuned in to the vice presidential debate was to see a VICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE! I wanted O'Reilly-Frank, instead I got Lieberman-Cheney. It reminded me of the Seinfeld series finale. When it was over, I sat there quietly for a couple of minutes thinking "that was it?" Ah well, let's kick it around, anyway. Who won? Who lost? And how disappointed were you?

For my part, Palin-Biden 1 left me feeling glad that there won't be a Palin-Biden II. Weak is the word that comes to mind. As for O'Reilly-Frank II, I can only hope it's coming, and I hope it's coming soon.
