BC basketball update:

Boston College(7-2) travels to Lawerence,KS to play (AP)#11 ranked Kansas(8-2) in a tough place to play inside Allen Fieldhouse.

If we get only a modest offense- 8 points a game from Akida(player was on supension,can play a huge role on sat) and only suffer 5 from whoever he is guarding- and if he gives us 4 rebounds and 2 steals.

This eagle team will give KU fits on saturday. They are quicker- SW is a genius catlike kangeroo swatter. Rice will make your team go crazy after what he does.(ask terps,if you wanna know biggrin.gif )- dudley is first team all american. .

it will be close and it could go either way, ku 76 bc 81.

update BC football:Jags will be the new coach and introduce at the Heights tonight 7 pm.Check bc's athletic sports website for more info.

Jags was not my first choice, but he meets my criteria. He's young, fiery, and offensive-minded. I think he could do very well here.Coach Logan(rumored to take offenseive coordinator job) that Jags brings in(if he does) will score BC a lot of points. He likes a mobile QB(Matt Ryan our qb). He will keep the QB in the pocket, roll him out, & run the option from time to time(fits Ryan well). He likes to run a quick side line pass to a wideout. BC will recruit a jitter bug type of 3rd down back(Jeff "jet" Smith RB).I hope he can build on what TOB couldn't do is take this team to whole new level of play.
