If haven't seen this already on youtube,its about Bill O'Reilly Blasts Virginia Tech President Over Rapper NAS.

First things first,I grew up in the early 90's where Hip-Hop was king.I admit today's generation is nothing but,BLEEP.

Bill doesn't even listen to the songs in its entirety.He cherry picks quotes in the songs to portray's  Nas as rapper who promotes violence.First off,there couldn't be a better choice of a performer to sing at VT than Nas.Anyone who listens to Hip-Hop knows that Nas is one of the most positive rappers around.He's not a "gangster rapper" nor promotes violence in any way.Nas talks about, all types of issues and promotes peace and education to kids.He wasn't asked to perform he was selected.

Has it occurred to you that Bill O'Rielly may have a point in a more general sense. The president of VT, a couple of years before the shooting that kills 20-odd of his students had worked with the Virginia legislature to ban LEGALLU OWNED firearms from college campuses in Virginia.

This occurred in the face of overwhelming statistical evidence that there is a direct correlation between the banning of legal firearms, and gun crime committed with illegal firearms. Basically, he ignored empirical evidence that, had he recognized, may have saved 29-odd lives.

Now he is embracing a Rap artist, when there is growing correlative evidence between Rap music and violence.

Maybe it's not about NAS...maybe it's about a college president who doesn't listen to empirical evidence...how dumb is that?

I not promoting rap,and violence.I'm just trying to defend Nas.

And I'm not saying all rap artists are violent. I'm saying that the VT president has made agregious errors that may have cost lives. I think that's why Reilly is on his case.
