There is no harm letting you dog on a leash and chain up in front or back as long as you

give him enough room has a roof over his/hre head.   has clean food and water.  its legal.

it dsoent bring aggresive dogs out and its not going to make them bite. The dog bites beacsue the owner cant teach right from wrong. However my dog is on a invisbale fence and this works much better.

I agree that it's ok to have your dog outside for a while. I don't think it's fair to a pet, however, to leave him or her on a chain all day long. It's not illegal, but it's not kind. I also think that common sense has to come into play in terms of the weather. You MUST have shade for your dog if it's extremely hot out there.

P.S. I agree about owners not taking the time to teach their dogs. They are animals, and need our guidance if we want them to behave as pets.

I agree with the heather I seen alot of animal cops show take away there dogs beacuse there been on a leash and no clean food or water.

I want to become animal officer! :) I have excalty help animals.

1. here in my apt places i thought it was someone pet. a couple weeks later you see a shy cat scared you can see the ribs.

Before i went to work i stop by the police to tell them the animal needed help.

than a dog was lose on a 35 mph road and were people drive like 45-50 mph on it.

I made sure the dog wouldn't go into the street and waited for the animal officer to come. (someone else called) :) i scared the dog back home.

But i was so close to get the dog to me :(

another dog was hit but i couldn't get there in time.
