One night Two party's 4 hours of a political commercial. The next time I sit through a debate it will be between 2 candidates. Tonight was 10 people running for their party's nomination and as far as I'm concern nothing came out of this that has changed my mind. I don't necessarily think they really were out to. They all had the stage to basically tell you why to vote for them and not the other person. I found the democrats a touch more civil. The republicans took every chance to swipe at Mitt Romney. It kind of reminded me of The Great African Plains where the mighty Gazelle is wounded. Above the vultures wait for that right moment. On the other side Edwards teamed up with Obama to take a hit at Hilliary when ever possible. I think they all got a chance to sell their goods.
I couldn't help notice a couple of superficial things. I couldn't take my eyes off of John Edwards hair. At the point where it is parted I thought was a bit phony. I think there is something under there to give it lift. Mrs. Clinton looks like she got a fresh shot of Botox. She probably travels with it. Bill Richardson's tie wasn't fully up there. He has the same problem I do. A tie at full staff interferes with a double chin.
Charlie Gibson did a pretty good job. All and all I was bored stiff. I played some solitaire and looked through some new catalogs to help me make it. Winners and Loser's? Time will tell!

This is my semi annual profile update. Live in the West Fenway section of Boston with my cat Daisy (pictured). Came to Ma. about 30 years ago from Nu Yawk. If we had a conversation you would think I just got off the boat. I lived in Waltham, Bedford, Lowell and now Boston. Never ever was a sports fan in NY. My family hates that I am now a dedicated Red Sox Fan. I was in the Navy, I drove a Taxi in NY, I worked for the VA, and now have a disability retirement from the Post Office. I am a Jewish, Gay man in my mid 50's. I am a registered democrat who has voted for Nixon and Reagan and I don't care what you think about my social or political views.
