Rev. Jesse Jackson found what it was like to be on the wrong side of a open mic.   At a reception  Rev. Jackson made some pretty off the cuff  remarks about Barrack Obama thinking he was talking with his Mic shut off.  This lead to an apology by Jackson and a criticism from none other than his own son.   This has been a common mistake by many a leader and wanna be.   For me I always make sure I see that little red light before I start ranking on others.   Yes Rev. Jackson, before you cut off anything, make sure the Mic is cut off first.

Jessy is nothing more than a reverse bigot. I was on a plane that he got on.He ignored and walked by every white person that said hi to him. He then sat next a black guy,and said "How ya doing Brother". His 15 minutes of strong arming companies to higer blacks is over. He also is/was quite and adulterer. I dont think anyone takes him seriously anymore.

Actually, here's MY perspective on this:

I think, for the first time in my recent memory, that Jesse Jackson may have been RIGHT!!! Barack talks down to EVERYONE, BLACKS INCLUDED. But what is more interesting, and probably irritating to Jesse is that Barack has distanced himself from his roots, his religion and his heritage in an effort to decieve middle white America.

It is just a shame that black guys in the limelight need to be like that. I wish they just be who they are...

How does this guy always manage to get himself in the limelight??!! If we IGNORE him, maybe he'll go away!!!

June, May I change the subject for a brief moment. The 27th I go to my first Boston/Yankee game. In all the games I go to that was always the hardest to get tickets to. My friend with season tickets gave me that one. Should I wear my Johnny Sucks shirt?

Well, Johnny is on the DL.....but......I guess you can ALWAYS wear that even if he is!!! I say go for it!!!

Jealous, by the way! That's my birthday weekend. :)

Good point Chip, Liberal's in general are pompus, and they ALWAYS know what is good for us.

Chip, of course Jesse was right. Problem is, VB had a point this morning...This will distract people from the whole FISA bill fiasco. And Obama's flip-flop. (If I wasn't voting for the guy before, I'm sure not now!)

Chip,

Gay boyfriends are the loophole of a monogamous relationship. LOL!

On Jesse Jackson, nomorehacks you are absolutely right. He is a bigot. The double standard irritates me because his behavior would not be tolerated if he was white. I'm ok with him trying to do good for his fellow African Americans, but he is downright racist. You can't respond to racism with racism. It doesn't work.

Where is the rev. Al Shapton? Why hasn't he commented on his brothers miscue? Oh Yea, he only comes out against white people when they make a mistake. But, when it's one of his own it's different and o.k. And neither one is racist??? Hmmmmmm

Ok, I posted a response eons ago. Apparently, Fox deemed it not worthy of being posted.

Chip, I was saying that 'gay boyfriends' are the loophole of a monogamous relationship. LOL!

I was also agreeing with nomorehacks on Jesse Jackson being a bigot.

Relax June, Sometimes they are so slow and other times I barely click done and it's out there. Whatever you write is always worthy.

jovanone,

Sharpton was on Hannity and Colmes last night making light of Jackson viciously saying how he wants to "cut Obama's nuts off", as I expected he would.

I wonder why they didn't make light of Don Imus's faux pas. Didn’t Don deserve a break? Oh yea, they had a lot to gain from that, and according to them that wasn't funny, but, what Jesse said was O.K. and their just going to make light of it and go on like it never happened. What a joke.

How can anyone especially these big companies take these two clowns serious with all their demands they make on them when a white person makes the same mistake. Do you think there’s a double standard here?

Thanks for the info SirB I wish I had seen it.

Well, If Imus said "Jackson is talking down to white people" and then to viciously add that he wants to "cut his nuts off". What would be the response of Al and the black community then? Forget about it!!

Chip, I would love to have you both (at the game) but I just have one ticket. If anything, It's Junes birthday. All she is going to get from me is a Happy Birthday Good Wish. Sorry......
