Three very well known public people died within the last couple of days.
Tony Snow the White House Press Secretary died of a recurrence of Cancer. A young 53 more than just the title he held he was also a good friend to President Bush. Tony also worked as a Fox News Commentator.
Dr. Michael DeBakey Died at 99. Dr. DeBakey pioneered the now common procedures used in Bypass Surgery. He was also the inventor of many other heart devices that through the years have saved many lives.
Finally last but certainly not least, Bozo the Clown died. Larry Harmon died at 83. For more than half a century it was Harmon's version of Bozo that entertained children, (writer included). Harmon was not the original Bozo, but had the foresight to buy the rights to the character and licensed the character to others, including dozens of TV stations across the nation who in turned hired local Bozos. It wasn't to cool to be called a Bozo, but Harmon didn't mind and took the name all the way to the bank.
Three men with very different rolls. In my opinion none more important than the other.
ONE GAVE US HEALTH, THE OTHER MADE US THINK, AND STILL ANOTHER MADE US LAUGH!!!!! Rest in Peace gentlemen your job here on Earth is done. God Bless.......

This is my semi annual profile update. Live in the West Fenway section of Boston with my cat Daisy (pictured). Came to Ma. about 30 years ago from Nu Yawk. If we had a conversation you would think I just got off the boat. I lived in Waltham, Bedford, Lowell and now Boston. Never ever was a sports fan in NY. My family hates that I am now a dedicated Red Sox Fan. I was in the Navy, I drove a Taxi in NY, I worked for the VA, and now have a disability retirement from the Post Office. I am a Jewish, Gay man in my mid 50's. I am a registered democrat who has voted for Nixon and Reagan and I don't care what you think about my social or political views.
