well ive been summoned to jury duty AGAIN. m convinced our legal system cant function without wasting my time as soon as I am possibly e ligible to report again. I hate jury duty. but not for the reasons that most people hate jury duty.
I hate jury duty because ive had to sit on a jury and try to get through to the morons on my panel. Its amazing how many of our citezens are illiterate, and how many simply refuse to follow directions. Ive watched"respectable" business owners argue for hours ove a point they were specifically told not to consider by the judge. ive seen housewifes work up a sweat trying to make others see reason. how many times have I gone back to a jury room to realise most of my "fellow citezens" have no idea what the case is about or what we are supposed to be doing. every panel has at least one member that tries to make things last as long as possible so they wont have to go back to work, and another that wants to get out of there as fast as possible. the matter at hand is the last thing on thier mind. unfortunatly, doing my civic duty has destroyed my confidence in our legal system. Its the best crime detterent Ive ever seen because the last thing in the world I want is to put my freedom and liberty in the hands of a massachusets jury.

I dont claim to be a religious expert or a race relations specialist of any kind.
I simply dont understand how an individual who admits to being a memver of a congretion like the Trinity Church of Christ could get far enough to obtain a political office, or become a presidential candidate, This country will be in serious trouble if Barack Obama gets as far as the Oval Office.
In this "politically correct" world of ours, any church whos website, mission statement, or doctrine mentioned the words "white" as many times as this church's propoganda not only mentions but claims to be "unapoligetic" of its "black", afrnd "African" focus, there would be a national media outrage. The words "racist", "klu Kl x Klan" and "un-american" would be everywhere. I dont think its over reacting to predict that there might even be protests if a presidential candidate admitted to membership in such a church.
It seems to me that a President of the United States Of America should be unwavering in his/her devotion to this country and no other, including Africa. In a presidential race that has examined Mitt Romney's religion to distraction, how is it that no one has criticised Barac Obama's???/ A country that criticised JFK for his religion cannot allow this man to go unchallenged.
The think I hear most often about Barac is that he is a great speaker and a persuasive person. I have no doubt he is a powerful and influential speaker. I also reavlise it is a provocative comparison but Adolph Hitler was also a persuasive speaker.
Again I dont claim to be any kind of expert. If ive misunderstood the information ive found regarding the Church Of Christ, I wish someone would educate me. Mr Obama might be a wonderful person and a great choice for President, but right now im very concerned.

most years by now ive seen "its a wonderful life" a 1/2 dozen times, 12 nversions of "scrooge", "miracle on 34th street" at least once etc. So far I saw its a wonderful ife on thanksgiving day and again last night, along with the cartoon "the grinch that stole christmas. Ive seen "shrek christmas" and "charlie Brown" twice.
Is this some side effeect of the writers strike? is it politically in correct to play christmas shows, do i have to subscribe to cable just to get into the christmas spirt??

so you remember the cartoon you watched as a kid "santa clause is coming to town"
its a remarkable prediction of current events/ stay with me now
you start with the burgermiester miesterburger pc government guy that bans toys, ho ho hos, anything fun. kind of like our current day pc fanatics?
and you have a skinny young healthy santa to be, who then sets a bad example and endangers the poor children by breaking laws to bring happiness and fun to the world.
but the pc freaks strike back and arrest bad bad ho hoing santa. because he wont stay on his side of the mountain (he broke through the 50 foot clearance area)
time goes on and the burgermiester miesterburgers get lives and no one cares about banning fun. but the stress of avoiding all thier nonsence has made our santa fat and unhealthy and a bad exabple for our children
ok so im tired :>
