I was thinking and wondering what it would be like to be Gilligan “Gilligan’s island. Follow me here if you would for a moment. I think that if there really was a Gilligan he really knew what he was doing and he had it made. In the show they had lobster and homemade cooking every night. The professor taught them everything they needed to know, Maryanne and Ginger need I say more? I would like to have that problem on the island on which I like better. I could go on and on, however what character would you like to be most and why?  God bless and have a great day, Karl.

I would like to add a few parables of my own here, thanks. Suppose that Jesus to the Catholics should have been really called him John the Baptist? I feel that Jesus meets the criteria to be John the Baptist as much as he does the Son of God.

I would also like to ask, what if the part of the bible that says the devil came in a form of a snake and tempted Adam and Eve to have them eat the apple was not correct. And that the only truth was that Adam and Eve just made that up like families do today about the Easter bunny and Santa Clause. (I do believe in the Easter bunny and Santa clause in spirit or rather for what they stand for.)  Suppose whenever God talks about a devil that he was referring to people.

Please tell me what you think, God bless and have a great day, Karl.

Let me take this in a whole new direction, ok? Let’s suppose that Jesus was talking about the devil when he was talking about the prodigal son? This mistake changes the whole philosophy about what is forgiveness or the lesson of forgiving.  Parables are always open for interpretation.

I like all of the comments above the most because all I have to do is have forgiveness and let God deal with any demons or people, that likes to lie and hide their evilness.

Hello you all, my name is Karl. I think that you all have forgotten about what a great season the Indians had last year. I personally feel that if Travis was not hurt in the playoffs last year in the playoffs we would have won it all. I would assume that the knowledge that you all have about baseball that you would have predicted the better than average season the Indians had last year. There is no correlation between the next year comment and the truth whatsoever at all.  I personally enjoyed last year watching the Cleveland Indians play.  I do agree that this season with the Indians can easily be written off as saying that they may win it all next year. That would be providing that they get healthy and the trades that they got pan out. I for one can’t wait. Until then God bless you all and have a great day, Karl.

I would like to say that I feel that the city of Painesville did a perfect and professional job with the route 20-road project. I base my decision on the amount and type of work that was done there.  I hope that those people from Painesville sees this blog, God bless from Karl.

I like the way the Cleveland Browns are coming together this year. I would like to go on the record and say that I think the Cleveland Browns will go to the super bowl and win it this 2008-2009 season. I would feel better if Brady Quinn was the quarterback.  Having no draft picks is not a problem. I think that the Browns will have a 12-4 record if not better. Tell me what you think and let the bet be either you or I will post a bog saying that you were wrong and I was right. God bless and have a great day, Karl.

I love those tax-foreclosed homes, NOT. With the tax-foreclosed homes all a person has to do is pay the tax, yeah!!!!!! After all the government only wants to get the tax that is owed to them. We would not want to cheat the government do we!!!!?  And look here shall we, the tax that is owed on all of the houses that is do is much less than one years worth, what a miracle!!!!. What you want to talk about the people who own the house, maybe throw them a bone? How about the evil bank, huh got you, they are the culprits.

People I don’t care how you spin this, it is wrong and we all know it. Stop trying to make yourself rich at your neighbor’s expense!!!! And as the bible says who is your neighbor?   Please tell me what you think, God bless and have a great day, Karl.

I would like to ask you all, what is wrong with having a Muslim president?  Let me grab the bull by the horns when I say and I hope that you realize that Muslims are not the cause of 911. Just to throw a stick into the racist people part, I say besides 911 happened what 7 years ago, get over it. ßThat is not how I feel but I hope that you understand the inner message with this one. I would never get over it and no it does not change the feelings of some people who pretend to be a Muslim. I have nothing against Muslims. I say that sometimes my reaction to a problem only creates another problem. God bless and have a great day, Karl.

Pit bull dogs are like weapons, and they are like good pets to. It depends on how the owner chooses to use them that make a difference. I know some people that have a pit bull dog that is friendlier than some poodles. Then there are the ones that have this weird demented thought or need to make their perfectly fine pet into some scared animal that will attack anything but the hand that feeds it.

My bottom line is pit bulls are like weapons it is not the weapon itself but how the owner handles it that makes the difference. Please tell me what you think, God bless from Karl.

I can’t believe that these people now want money from a family of the dog they just ran over.  You people are pethetic, your God is watching you and not in a good way. That’s all I have to say about that, thank you and God bless from Karl.

Mentor spent millions of dollars to widen heisley road and the traffic is just as bad as it was before they did any road construction. I think that Mentor fixed the wrong end of heisley road, and they put that stupid right lane closed ahead thingy in there. All that does is give people an excuse to speed up and cut off all the other cars on the left. You know that lane ends, why do you need to cut off traffic for? Anyway, God bless you all and please let me know what you think, Karl.

Hello you all and I feel the need to ask a question. I work part time at BP on Heisley road and route 2 on Saturday and Sunday from 6-2pm. BP is now pre-pay or use a credit card at the pump. We cannot pre pay inside with a credit card and now the diesel pumps are pre-paid to. We can only sell beer on Sunday starting at 1:00 pm. I just want you all to know that I have nothing to do with this decision but I always get the wrath of some people who don’t seem to know that they are not talking to the horses head so to speak here. I feel your frustration people but come on now, please don’t shoot the messenger. I pre-pay at my own gas station that I work at and when I buy beer, yes I show them my 45-year-old mug shot too. Why is this a bid deal? Some of you people act worse than kids do. Please grow up. Oh yeah, and No I can’t sell beer until 1:00pm on Sunday and no matter what swear word you use can make it happen ok? I really want to hear from you people on this ok? Thank you and God bless from Karl.

Some people in Fairport Harbor, Lake county Ohio should be ashamed of themselves. That is they should be ashamed enough to help that church build a parking lot for its patrons that go to that church. And I know that some if not most of you know what church I am talking about. I also don’t understand this jealous type of people who do not appear to like the enjoyment of another person. All I have to say to you or that person is, maybe you would not be bothered by the so called loud music if you were in church yourself rather than worrying about someone else attempting to put God into their lives. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. I have been to Fairport harbor many times and I know of the loud music that is played every year when the forth of July comes to town. This is far louder than anything anywhere. I don’t recall any complaints from this. And I am not complaining by this not for a second. I just hope that my point here comes across to you. God bless you all and remember now you should make a parking lot for that church to make things right, Karl.

I have an idea that I think we all should consider. Please help me out with this idea, thank you. OK, lets say that people in the future can come back in time. Now those people can go back to any time they choose. Then the only thing that those people need is a destination and a task to complete the contact. This would be like the contact that was made in “Back to the future part 3,” see? We can put something in a time capsule  so that the people in the future can go back to. I personally think that the only thing that could go back in time is light and or gravity. Gravity is stronger when it pertains to black holes, were light will have to make the long trip from one side of the galaxy to the other to start going back in time. Light can be very powerful because computers and optic lenses that can send light singles that our computers can turn into data. But to be able to see that light and turn it into data is the other thing. By letting the future people know where to send a light beam so that the space shuttle can pick it up like a satellite picks up signals. Gravity signals can be picked up as sounds of Morse code and still have messages. Either way it will take coordination with the future to make this happen. Please tell me what you think. God bless and have a great day.

Who and what makes a good driver?

Is it someone who can drive really fast? Yes if you are a racetrack. But driving in public you are not driving with other racecars. There are people out there just going from point a to point b you know. PLEASE LEARN TO LEAVE ON TIME THEN YOU DON’T HAVE TO DRIVE LIKE YOU THINK YOU CAN.

Does driving slow make you a good driver? No, you just create a traffic hazard, because you most likely have like 10-20 cars following you at all times. If you can’t drive the speed limit, you should not be driving.

OK, you drive to fast, why? Do you not know when to leave on time to where you are going? I don’t get it. Did you know that you only save yourself like 5 to 10 minutes at the most; however look at how much stress you cause yourself? Please take your time and do the speed limit. It only takes a little planning and not much extra time you know, God bless from Karl.

The Prodigal Son, also known as the Lost Son, is one of the best known parables of Jesus. It appears only in the Gospel of Luke, in the New Testament of the Bible. By tradition, it is usually read on the third Sunday of Lent. It is the third and final member of a trilogy, following the Parable of the Lost Sheep and the Parable of the Lost Coin.

The story is found in Luke 15:11-32. Jesus tells the story of a man who has two sons. The younger demands his share of his inheritance while his father is still living, and goes off to a distant country where he "waste[s] his substance with riotous living", and eventually has to take work as a swine herder (clearly a low point, as swine are not kosher in Judaism). There he comes to his senses, and determines to return home and throw himself on his father's mercy. But when he returns home, his father greets him with open arms, and hardly gives him a chance to express his repentance; he kills a "fatted calf" to celebrate his return. The older brother becomes jealous at the favored treatment of his faithless brother and upset at the lack of reward for his own faithfulness. But the father responds:

Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

– (Luke 15:32, KJV)

I think Jesus was talking about the devil. That is why God allows evil to happen here on earth. God is thinking and telling us that he will get an apoligy from the devil and it is up to us to forgive.

Can you forgive? I have forgiveness. Thank you and God bless, Karl.

I want to ask you all, “ who do you think Jesus was talking about?”
