Who won the war?
Nobody has said "Boo" about Kwanzaa.
Hanukkah came and went without a dradle to be seen.
Christmas season begin around August with Wal Mart, Target, K-Mart, Petsmart, any sort of Mart, Depot or Big Box Store started putting out Christmas BLEEP.
Santa Hats for the Dogs, and Tacky Lawn glow in the dark nativity scenes.
Last Christmas my wife went out of town and I got the Flu. So she was enjoying Tex-Mex in Dallas (something Boston needs to look into, and dont throw that Sol Azteca stuff at me, you dont know jack) I was puking my Christmas Turkey out.
How was this year? Better, kinda.
Work grounded both me and my wife to staying home. We went to see movies on Christmas Day (Dewey Cox (C) and Sweeny Todd (D-)) And went home to eat Lasagna.
Did anyone wish me a Happy Christmas? Yes. Did I wish them the same? Yes. Was anyone offended by me doing so? I dont know they didnt say.
And what happened to Easter. No one talks abot Easter anymore. Stores close on Christmas but not on Easter? Where is the outrage, the books, the Fox News Coverage? Easter
Any Sucker can be born, but to die for others sins? Why, that takes something by god. But no, Christmas somehow turned into some sort of shopping spree/family/wall street monster.
Would losing the war on Christmas be so bad? some would say you have allready lost.
I like most people am just glad its almost a new year, maybe next year we can do Christmas right, by shutting up about it, and going about life as if it were normal expect for a breif 2 day period in December where alot of people wont show up for work or school.
