the boston media piled on the red sox for the way they handled the latest two incidents involving manny ramirez.This is due in part to some racist attitudes practiced by hosts on WEEI (Dennis,callahan and most of all Mike adams the number 1 manny basher)and picked up by other members of the fourth estate.The red sox feel they have every right to run their team as they see fit and if that means they wish to handle things internally that should be good enough.But noooooooooo when it involves manny ramirez both he and the team do not get cut any slack,.Now will the same hypocrites in the media pile on the new england patriots and or the nfl if they choose to handle the nick kazur situation. in the same manner(For those who are unfamiliar with what happened kazur was arrested for possessing 202 oxycontin pills.He paid a $350 fine and will have the record expunged if he says out of trouble for 6 monthes).One has to wonder if the patriots will get piled on for how they will handle kazurs' situation and if the media doesnt give them the same amount of criticism the red sox received then the boston media are what I have always felt they were-HYPOCRITES!!!!!

once again the braindead writers from the BBWAA(Baseball Writers Association(and I emphasize ASS)chose not to elect jikm Rice to the hall of fame.Am I missing something here?Rice was an dominate figure during his era which was the clean era of MLB unlike todays game.Rice is being penalized because of his uncooperative nature with the media and some of the old farts who do the voting still hold that against Rice.I wuld love to persoanlly hunt down and ask those 16 voters why they left rice off their ballots and if it turns out that anyone submitted blank ballots as several writers did years ago to protest the pete rose exclusion from the HOF then those writers should lose their right to vote ever again.I hope Rice wont have to wait as long for the HOF as red sox nation waited for an championship(86 years)
