Elton John may have a point?

Elton John has come out and said that the internet is affecting people's way of socializing.  And if they shut down the internet for I believe, 5 years that there would be a change for the better.  I admit, I would be lost without it, especially in my line of work.  But I think to some extent he may have a point.  There is alot of bad that comes from the internet.  We see it every day.

 

Right?  Wrong?

Honestly, as often as I use the internet (pretty much daily) I think the world would be better off without it. I think we'd probably have less than half of the child molestations we've had if they didn't have so much porn to feed their filthy desires.
Having said that, it's not going to happen, and furthermore, it's certainly not on Elton John's suggestion. I highly agree with the emailer who wrote in to Fox 25 on either Thursday or Friday night saying that ELTON HIMSELF should be shut down for five years. He may have been something thirty years ago, but he's highly irrelevant - and really just a nuisance - today.
