Anyone get to see the phenomenal show tonight?  Despite the fact that he is SO easy on the eyes, he can ROCK after all these years! Us girlies went out tonight celebrating my friend's 40th bday.  I've always wanted to see Bon Jovi since my teenage years and never got to go. Tonight was long overdue and I was NOT disappointed! ! The Gahden ROCKED tonight!  Did any of you go? I saw one of our FAV Fox personalities at the Harp who said it would totally Rock, He was 100% right ...!! Hey Guys .. Took my little man to see the Extreme Makeover Home Edition jobsite today in Maynard!  I know our kids are in school this week but if you get out a little early one day .. you should bring the family!  There were hundreds of volunteers working.  Machines, cameras, lights, etc.
It was a great opportunity to teach my son about how selfless people can be, how to be a good contributor to your community, etc.  My son is a huge fan of the show and watches faithfully each week.  To be on the jobsite is an amazing experience.  We did visit the jobsite when they were they in Manchester a few months ago but still such an overwhelming, amazing experience!  ~smiley

So, I watched Kitchen Nightmares tonight w/Chef Ramsey.  I happen to like this show and am amused by Chef's curtness !  I sort of equate him to the  Simon Cowell of the restaurant world!.  However, tonight, he was OVER THE TOP for me. Every other word was "F" this (of course it was bleeped w/the grey circle  covering his mouth) and  Bull-Bleep that . Most sentences consisted of more bleeps then actual words.  
I dont know if they do that for the 'show' purpose or he really talks like this.  I just feel it's so not necessary.  Sure screaming, pointing fingers, up in their faces makes for some good t.v. but we dont need any more bleepin bleeps ?   Perhaps im just overly sensitive tonight who knows .. either way .. it annoyed me!

Today me and my kiddies were on the job-site of the Extreme Makeover Home Edition in NH! Yeh, they are in town through at least Thursday, I'm told! We got to Manchester and they have you park at Macy's! They shuttle you onto the job site! My son was SO excited!! Although Ty it out of town and we missed the designers by seconds, it was still such an awesome experience!!! My son even scored an Extreme Makeover Home Edition cap too!! It was truly amazing seeing hundreds of volunteers working to make someone's life better! Very moving experience for me ....Such a neat thing to see!!!

And no, im not talking about Red Sox Nation .. altho great game tonight!

Go Sox! Let me tell ya .. tonight i met w/a Tarot Reader! Ok .. so im not one of those who believes in these things but I was somehow roped into hosting a "reading party." The Tarot Reader lives in my town and my 'out of town' friends asked me to do it .. So I figured why not .. 6 women, wine, cheese, a tarot reading and, of course, the sox, why not! I didn't think much of this to be honest .. I dont quite believe in this stuff, doing it more for the socializing and fun! My friend picked up the 'reader' and a few others and came over! I cooked dinner, had wine, game .. all is good! So I thought! Then one by one, each person came out sharing their story with the 'reader.' It's my turn .. wine in hand .. I head down the hallway .. somewhat smiling like oh this will be fun!! But from what the others had said, now im somewhat nervous!!!

I sit down and the first words out of her mouth hit me like a ton of bricks! Did my friends share something w/her, i thought? I continue with the reading and it was dead on. The cards i picked were EXACTLY what is going on in my life. Could this be real? Could these cards REALLY tell me what's happening? Could she offer ANY sort of guidance? I left my session scratching my head .. in AWE!!! She hit SO many things that I'm dealing with .. none of which my friends are dealing with nor did she mention... so why me? Im left with so many questions! Have you ever had such a real experience? Did you ever not believe but then experience this first hand to change your mind? I tell ya, today, right now... I believe .. it freaked me out so much so .. im still up hours after she left! Kinda wondering how she knew all that!! What do you think? I'd LOVE to know!!! Smiley................
