No, not referring to the politicians  and their views, Im talking about warm, sunshiny weather! I love that I got to break out the flip flops this week and not have my feet freeze! I admit I usually put them on when it's over 50' degrees, I know nuts but it's me trying to rush through to summer!
 Amazing how alive you feel when the sun is shining and it's warm.  People seemed a bit more friendly today.  People seemed to have a little bit more pep in their step.   What about you? Do you feel the sunshine effects your mood?  Happy Thursday!!!!  ~ smiley.....

Well in my little world,  the start to the summer season was today!
Im no meteorologist and wouldn't dare challenge our fav,  Kevin Lemanowicz, lol... But seriously I enjoyed the first signs of Spring/Summer tonight! 
One of my favorite Spring/Summer hangouts .. Dairy Joy in Weston is open (I know VB is a HUGE fan of the place!!)).  Got a txt today from a friend prompting me of their opening!  I bundled up the kids and myself and off we went.  With my car cranking of heat and Carbon Leaf, we sat and enjoyed ourselves with some yummy ice cream treats!  So yeh, we fooled ourselves w/the fake heat, compliments of my car's heater. However, just for a few minutes we pretended it was summer!  Made me realize, Spring is JUST around the corner with Summer at it's heels!!  Maybe an optimistic and somewhat of a blog in denial, but hey .. power of positive thinking!! Smiley.........
ps .. the javaberry ice cream is DELICIOUS!!!

Um, I say Nah........Come on, you with me on this? Doesn't the idea of getting some snow tonight get you a little excited?  Well I am!  And so are my two munchkins!  We all just sat by the window watching it fall ... Of course, the question of school for tomorrow came up .. and it appears that they will have it .. I just wish we could do w/out the biting cold weather! UGH!  But I suppose w/out it we'd have rain ... and rain doesn't excite me .. ahh, guess you can't have it all ....

I hope my town gets enough snow to make snow angels .. my claim to fame!!!: )smiley..........

How do you take your JAVA?
Ok does this relate to weather? YES! Im a huge coffee drinker .. preferably Starbucks and when not available, DD is just fine!
Im confused lately on my java. I get to the counter and I dont know .. do I order a hot latte or iced coffee? The other day, it was SO cold and I ordered my usually non-fat, sugar-free, extra hot cinnamon dolce latte, hold the whip please!
Today I needed a little pick-me up in the afternoon and bopped into Dunkins .. but with the sun shining in my car, i was a little warm and was thinking hmmmmm, ICED? I went with it!
So hot or cold? Depends on the day .. although java is great in ANY weather!!! Does the weather play a factor in YOUR java decisions???? Smiley............

Ok not on my head but on my window!!!

Anyone else LOVE hearing the rain hitting their windows? I have to admit I was none too happy to hear it was going to rain today as me and my kiddies, mom, sis, brother, sis-n-nlaw, and new newphew were going for our annual apple-picking outing .. but i am an optimist .. and with no school this morning .. there was no reason to leap out of bed for our usual Monday routine!

Although I woke like clock-work at 6 am, my room was dark from the clouds outside, the rain was hitting my window in such a rhythm it lulled me back to sleep .. till 9:00!!! This is unheard of for me! So i didn't fret over the rain .. it allowed me to catch up on some much needed sleep .. We still hung out with our family and enjoyed lunch at Friday's, because I refuse to let a little rain get me down!! And well a few raindrops fell on us, so what? .. I am the first one to jump in the puddles too!!!! : )

What did you do today in the rain, anything fun?

Winter now but a distant memory .. sunny skies and warm temps .. Ahhhh summer is here!!! This weekend I met friends for lunch, ate outdoors .. and enjoyed the warm sushine! Nothing like outdoor dining with your sunglasses on and laughs .. truly enjoyable weekend! But my favorite thing about summer is ICE CREAM!! So my family thinks I should seek help for it! Truly, Im obsessed!! Its like the summer heat = ice cream, sunny skies = ice cream, June-September, I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! In my eyes, it's a great way to cool down on a hot, summer day!! What about you? What's your FAV ice cream shop always looking for new ones to try? Thanks!!!

Ok, if a clean sweep of the yanks wasn't enough to get us off ot a great start to the week, but how about this AWESOME weather??? Great to pick up the kids afterschool, play outside, visit w/neighbors and of course, had to take them for an ice cream at one of our fav ice cream spots, Dairy Joy in Weston! YUM! : )
